A surprising spanking for Leinster at the Lions.

Not easy down in SA at altitude but surprising that they got nothing from the game. Thatb might make the run in a bit more interesting, especially if they lose again next week.

Munster currently showing how it is done in Pretoria, though game has a way to run.

Quite the win from Munster, who of all the European sides, don't seemed phased by heading down south.

The RC for the Bulls FH was helpful to them but hard to say they did not deserve that result.


They playoff places and the home advantage seems all for grabs now.

I didn’t catch the game but might watch it later. Fair play to Munster, they didn’t look anywhere near a top 4 team around the start of the season but look at them now - it’s just so Munster.

Is anyone having trouble streaming some games on Viaplay today? It’s been two games in SA that I can’t stream.

Wonder is it anything to do with Premier Sports being back? There appears to be a change over going on there, wonder has it messed it up for you Mikey. Haven't seen the games today but no issue last night

Perhaps. It’s the Sharks, Lions and Stomers games I’ve had issue with. Bulls was okay.

Ospreys get the bonus point win against Stormers. It wasn’t their best team, Stormers are missing some too. Either way, it seems Booth has built a great culture down there.

Lions        vs Leinster - I really don't know about this one.  Not sure what Leinster have taken to SA.  A month ago I thought with Lions form they would win this game at home.  I still think they might edge this though but could go anyway really.  Lions by 1
Treviso vs Dragons - I don't give us a chance.  Treviso know they need to win this and win it well.  Treviso by 15+
Bulls        vs Munster - Bulls rested purely for this.  Bulls know if they are going to keep pressure on Glasgow for the 2 spot this is a must win game.  Munster I think have a bunch of injuries as well.  Bulls by 30+.  Could get really ugly this one.
Connacht vs Zebre - Connacht all day by 10+
Edinburgh vs Scarlets - Edinburgh's form not great the last 6 weeks.  But Scarlets are dire at the moment.  Edinburgh should put 20+ on here.
Stormers vs Ospreys - Stormers I dont think have been as good as the last 2 seasons this year.  That said I dont think Ospreys will win this one.  Stormers by 10

On the plus side my predictions were pretty good for tonight although Glasgow still need one more try for that BP which I dont think they will get.

My predictions almost looked ok this weekend.  Called a lions win but not by that margin.  2 got away from me.  Didnt see the Munster or Ospreys wins coming.  They did really well this weekend.  Going to make the next couple of rounds really interesting.  Leinster might not even top the league this year for the first time in like forever.....been a really good season for drama to watch.....

There are some comparisons being made with the last two minutes of the England v Ireland game, and the same period in the Bulls v Munster game.

Murray got some stick for kicking the ball away against England, as it gave us a chance for that final, winning score. He did the same against the Bulls, and Munster held out.

Id say after this weekend the top 4 will qualify. Under that its all up for grabs.

Next weeks game Ulster vs Benetton could be critical for both teams now. Ulster will beat Scarlets the week after but the final 2 rounds could both end up in losses so they really can't afford to lose this weekend. Benetton in a similar boat as well. They have a 2 week SA tour coming so for them they need to win at least 2 out of the next 4. That would leave them needing to beat Ulster & Edinburgh at home. They probably have a little less pressure as they do have the Sharks in SA and of the 4 SA teams that is a winnable one.

Lions in 11th I still think will make top 8 as they have a lot of home games coming......
