That has some really old stuff on it. No idea who made that site or anything but seems someone managed to get some of the old shows before 606 closed down.

I second this, based on current going ones, would say this would be the obvious Main Event of a big PPV

Re: 6CWF Chat V2
So based upon that being the general consensus:
Does Rex-Kent (if it does indeed ever happen) need to be for the world title? Do you believe that legitimises it as a match?
I have my own opinion but I am interested in everyone's outlook.

If the story is good enough a title shouldnt need to be involve I think, its a bonus though

Wouldn’t say it needs the Title but as Dicey said, would be an added bonus!

Selfishly, yes
Also, I think it would benefit the match because of how much the title means to Kent, but obviously it depends how things play out.

I would say so
I think the match would be big regardless, but from storyline I think this would (for me) be the logical step
I think after Kent has beaten all comers and then is feeling pretty untouchable, I'd love to see the Rex turn. I feel as though he's on the cusp of becoming one of the companies biggest face characters and I feel him challenging Kent and subsequently winning, will cement that. But actually challenging him though, not cashing in mid match as was teased
Obviously I doubt that's how it goes down and you'll have something wayyyy better up your sleeve

It is right mate. You beat Cassius Zhi when you were working baby (I’ve been watching too much Broken Skull ) back in 2011. Lex was 6WF Champ same time and then you both lost your titles in a unification against Hero which I think was the start point of the Church of Hero.

I'd love if someone had a complete history of all the titles? I've kept Wood's profile pretty much up to date but I feel like there are some titles he's held back in 2018/2019 (possibly) when I wasn't as active due to work/going out a lot more...that and old age memory loss.

Not that I'm one to question JJ, but I would book it thusly;
Kent loses the title (to Wood maybe)
Rex cashes in, to "win the title back for Genesis", and then retains in a rematch
Only for Kent and Genesis to turn against Rex (like Evolution when they turned on World Champion Randy Orton)
And then Rex (c) v Kent

Re: 6CWF Chat V2
I appreciate the different opinions. I won't give mine (just yet) as might spoil what is ahead but I can see both sides of the coin.
I think there are certain feuds that have absolutely no need for a title but a lot of the time that will be because they are the second/third chapter of a rivalry that probably started over a title. You almost need that longevity to remove the title from the stakes.
I agree with the idea that story quality matters a lot, if you add more layers then the title just becomes one of the reasons for the feud and if you need to remove it then it doesn't hinder. I think the Uryu-Gazzy story had elements of that......Christy was the biggest aspect and so the title wasn't a necessity but at the same time it probably helped it to stand out at the top of the card.
I think as a booker but also as someone has been an active promoer it is good to see engaging and riveting storylines away from the "main event". The Rex/Max story started away from the main event but grew into it with Genesis & Kent. Harris & Kent was a really good rivalry that began away from titles and just as a thirst to prove who was better.
But I guess that's my job, to make engaging storylines for everyone
I just think too often (and I have been guilty in the past) that some feuds are thrown together with no real substance. With our roster being so competitive I think it's important for every match (especially at PPVs) to have a reason for why we go there.
I realise I'm kind of just musing to myself out loud

Re: 6CWF Chat V2
In the past we have done sort of kayfabe Q&A sessions with the characters etc but would you guys be interested in me doing a thread where you can ask me questions from behind the curtain? As in me answering anything from the beginning 2008 to the present day.
And it would be a real no holds barred, nothing is off limits kind of thing. I might be grossly overestimating the interest in that kind of thing but I'm really inspired recently by listening to podcasts and interviews, Broken Skull etc and felt that maybe we could do something similar over here. Obviously anyone could do one but I'd be happy to kick it off myself.
We don't do podcasts (I know there was once upon a time which I absolutely loved listening to) but I think this has been such a massive part of my life that it would be great to speak on a lot of aspects that nobody ever really sees or knows about.
Be interested to gauge whether anyone would be up for that kind of thing.

Should add onto that:
Do people want a Q&A to read or would people be interested in some kind of podcast?
I'll be honest I have absolutely no idea how to do a podcast (I'm a technology disaster) but I'd be interested in perhaps doing one where we also cover current shows etc?

I never did a single one of the 6WF or 6CW podcasts. I've been listening to a couple recently and realised that I probably should have but for whatever reason it didn't happen. To be honest I don't think I was ever asked
Maybe it's getting older but I do see us all like a family in ways and there's a lot of stories to share etc. Sitting around the table on a podcast and shooting the breeze just sounds like a good time.

I think it was cable on those podcasts that had a voice that would melt butter, definitely a voice for radio. Always enjoyed listening to them was it not rob who set them up to begin with and then Pete took over I believe.

Pete did a podcast for a while...I kept getting asked to do it but I hate the sound of my own voice and wasn't brave enough. I'd happily listen to a podcast if one was created and it could be good to do one after PPVs to reflect on how it went and backstage stuff.
I also think having Q&A's is always fun as well.
