Boys Will be Boys. Not one for the fainthearted! It's about the Dallas Cowboys 90's glory days and their partying. It also talks how the team grew and Jerry Jones' issues with Jimmy Johnson. A cracking read.

"Paper Lion" by George Plimpton, a journalist who spend training camp with the Lions. It was later turned into a film. The follow up "Mad Ducks and Bears" is good too.

Re: NFL Books worth a read
I once read "The Draft", which is based around the build up to the 2005 NFL draft (Alex Smith, Ronnie Brown, Braylon Edwards, Cadillac Williams, Cedric Benson...)
http://www.amazon.com/Draft-Year-Inside-Search-Talent/dp/0312354398/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1308481428&sr=1-1
It wasn't exactly gripping, but gave a good insight in the process of college players being scouted by agents (more so than the NFL teams), before ultimately making the decision to sign with whichever agent offered them the best chance of being drafted as high as possible etc.
A slightly different angle at the draft in that sense and it also looked into the interesting story of Chris Canty, who's "high first round" value plummeted due to missing most of his senior season due to ruining his knee and then suffering a detached retina in a nightclub fight during late rehab (apparently was an innocent bystander).

I enjoyed the draft.
The book on the state of the NFL and the future by Brian Billick was excellent and especially interesting with the current Lockout.
Auto/Biographies: Gruden, Romo, LT etc
Go on Amazon.co.uk there are loads to read.
John Feinstein followed the Ravens for a year and that was excellent and highly recommended.
Tedy Bruschi book, excellent
Oher both his version and The Blind Side are worth a read

The Blue Print is also good looks at Bill Bellicheck from an early age to SB winning coach gives a brief insight to Patriots set up
