Wayne Smith is leaving the AB's after the RWC take note Cardiff Blues fans...!
It appears that two of the three long serving Musketeers at the centre of all things Black in Kiwi international rugby will be dispersing after the RWC.
I can smell an Andy Howell article linking Smith to the possibly vacant post at the Blues in the same way he could see Ma Nonu arriving at the Liberty next year. Check the Wail in the morning...!
Would be an interesting guy to take the hot seat, should the budget be there...
The former All Blacks scrum half Justin Marshall commented that the best piece of coaching advice he'd received came from Smith: "I was going through a bad patch and he told me to go out and trust my instincts and be decisive – you need to trust what you do is going to be the right thing and if you do it decisively you'll make good of it even if it's the wrong option because you'll do it with purpose. That's the best piece of advice I've been given."
Coaching CV
1997-1999 Crusaders (head coach)
2000-2001 All Blacks (head coach)
2001-2004 Northampton Saints (head coach)
2004-present All Blacks (assistant coach)

Sounds like a good choice - But probably way out of the price bracket unless PT dredges up some money.

He's lining himself up as the next coach of Wales alright.
My prediction 2012 Chiefs assistant. 2013 Chiefs head, 2014 Wales Coach
Wales 2014 grand slam champions playing with a flat backline and gain line pivot will take the 6N by storm.
Wales 2015 Wales can't score a point, pick up the wooden spoon and dump him as coach a month before the RWC.
I'm taking bets now.

It wouldn't be a bad choice at all, howevere if it was report by Howell then I wouldn't believe a word of it cos there is never much truth it what he prints just rumour.
