Fights to send the father in-law?? Empty Fights to send the father in-law??

Post by TRUSSMAN66 Thu 30 Jun 2011, 9:05 pm

Unfortunately My Father-in-law doesn't like Boxing...It's a shame because I'd like to have envisioned My worser half asking me to get Daddy a special DVD for his birthday.....A special 4hr dvd full of fights he could enjoy!!!

What would be your special tape for a " LOVED " one!!!!

Here is my DVD with best wishes for a special fox hunting loving right wing thatcherite kind of guy...

Page vs Tubbs
Nunn vs Starling
Nelson vs Warring
Deleon vs Reeson
Bonecrusher vs Tyson
Shavers vs Tillis

Any room left to be filled by Greg the flea Richardson.....and many "happy" returns

What I will say is that having watched Mancini and Kim live at the time and a few times after......

I haven't seen a more courageous, gutsy, game kid so full of heart in all my years watching the sport..

As Referee Green killed himself over guilt and Kim's mum swallowed bleach (and died ) as a result of a broken heart..

Not sure I appreciate your example...

I'd just give them a DVD of my own personal favourites, and if they didn't enjoy it I'd cut them out if my life for good.

Barrera Marquez 1
Marquez Vasquez 1
Ali Frazier III
Holmes Norton
Leonard Duran 1
Bowe Holyfield 1
Gatti Ward 1

If they didn't like that lot they're not worth knowing.

Presumably you'll be charging the postage for your father in laws gift to his account Truss?

Rich pickings among the heavies, Truss.

Just for starters, how about Akinwande v Lewis and Ali v Young ?

Spinning back fist is plausible. I dont know what the big fuss is about it, it could be utilised.

Only on one of ' those ' DVDs you buy in specialist shops.

Those "specialist shops" that Windy refers to are just known as "shops" in parts of his adopted country (ahem, cough, Hamburg, cough).

I'd include Smith v Quigley - I still can't get over the sheer mind-numbing ineptitude on display in that fight. it was for a Lonsdale belt and Quigley's sole tactic seemed to be to smother Smith with his moobs.
