British Grand Prix Winner?
British Grand Prix
Silverstone, 8-10 July
Friday 8 July: Practice one - 0900-1030; Practice two: 1300-1430
Saturday 9 July: Practice three - 1000-1100; Qualifying: 1300-1400

How do you see this one going guys?
Will it be Vettel leading the pack again or can someone else step up the plate at Silverstone and start putting his championship lead under pressure?

Re: British Grand Prix
it suits red bull down to the ground silverstone so it should be a seb or mark win but there are rumors that it may rain most the weekend.

Bonjourno!
With the blown diffuser blown away, the finger will have his title blown out of his hands as the Matedor will ride his Prancing Horse to victory in the race at Silverstone!
Fernando will bring a glourious sea of Red and Yellow to the proceedings of Silverstone! I believe in you Fernando!
Forza Alonso!

Re: British Grand Prix
@Alessandro: if you've seen any recent F1 races at Silverstone, you'll know the red and silver of McLaren are the dominant colours.
This is more optimism than real expectation, but I think Red Bull will suffer more than most, without their exhaust-blown diffuser. That, coupled with the cooler conditions, should give McLaren just enough of an edge to bring home the silverware. If it stays dry, Hamilton will win. If the weather is wet or changeable, I expect Button will come out on top (and that The Most Complete Driver On The Grid will, at some point, get acquainted with the barriers ).

Re: British Grand Prix
Unfortunately I see another Vettel win. Newey will find a way around the ban. They did it with the flexi wings and will do it with the diffuser

dyrewolfe - really?? you think if its wet button will come out on top of hamilton. I would say hamilton is better in the wet. But you're entitled to your opinion of couse.

Re: British Grand Prix
Well, Hamilton has shown he can drive in the wet, but I based my opinion on his current form, which has been patchy to say the least.
Just my gut feeling right now. I might change my mind after practice and quali.

Hate to say this, but Renault engine powered team are allowed to have a 50% of the throttle open compared to the 10% of everyone else. I can't see any but a Red Bull win.

Re: British Grand Prix
So do i. But to ban something half way through a season is daft. Plus why arent they banning the flexi wing. THey must see that their own tests are sufficent. In fact i dont give a hoot what the test shows. You can clearly see on the tv during the race its almost touching the floor.

Re: British Grand Prix
well during it's tests the wing won't move cos the car isn't moving so it's not going to pick up on it

Exactly. So the test is void. The real test is how it performs on the track, they should be looking there.
Anyway, i guess thats an old topic now.
