Jerry Lawler DVD???

Hi all,

Long time reader, first time poster.

Just a quick one for my first post, as the title suggests, I was bascially watching a YouTube video of Lawler when one of the comments said that the WWE are planning a DVD release of The King. I was wondering if anyone here has heard anymore about this and can confirm if this is legit as I can't find anywhere that confirms this (I checked WWE.com, Silvervision new releases etc).

I'm a huge Lawler fan so I hope it is true. Any information would be great.

I've not heard it myself but most of his work was in Memphis, no doubt they could fill 3 dvds full but none of who the WWE appeal to these days wouldn't have a clue about who a lot of these guys where, it would be an older fans dvd for sure

Would they have the rights for all the footage of him in Memphis though?

he was a co-owner in Memphis, so I'd assume he has full access to the library. I can just see the DVD now:

Disc 1: covers his days in Memphis, with plenty of detail on his run with Andy Kaufman. (running time: 3 hours)

Disc 2: his feud with Bret, and occasional matches in WWE. (running time: 3 hours)

Disc 3: a collection of his funniest one-liners, Vickie fat jokes, his funniest 'PUPPIES!' moments... (running time 3 minutes. And they'll be a very long three minutes, that you'll never, ever have back).
