4-7!
Not really that fussed about 3 I missed as I was confident in my picks; may have relied to heavily on Benji though!

Re: NRL picks
I just had a feeling they were starting to play better (against Manly) plus at home. Risky I know.
Underestimated Cronulla, overestimated Canberra
Newcastle, Penrith were surprise losses I thought.
Canterbury beating Melbourne? Well, because it was at a neutral venue and pressure on Bulldigs coach...thought they'd lift and some Melb (Qld) players might be tired after Wednesday night. (also max points on FantasyLeague,...pure greed, lol)

Re: NRL picks
I seem to do well off the Sharks, every time I tip them against the grain they come up for me.
Didn't see the Penny Panthers losing, jumped off NQ like they were on fire when JT went down.
Dawgs were done when Idris signed for GC!

Yes, I should have paid more attention...was getting ready for the S15 Final and didn't know about that news!

Re: NRL picks
Yes, you could say. Crusaders so dominant over the years...7 titles. This year was especially tough due to the earthquakes and having to relocate games to Nelson. They forfeited one game (so no points), had a tougher draw than the Reds and had to do lots of travelling in the last few weeks. The Reds had a lot of games at Suncorp.
The Reds did very well though. They have almost been cellar-dwellers for the last decade or more. They topped the table, had great confidence throughout the season and were really on a roll at home. To me this last point was probably the difference...a surge of support growing all year and culminating in the semi last week, SOO mid week also would have made things reach fever pitch for the final on Saturday. (cross pollination between RL and RU is succesful here for some reason...core fans of both codes don't discriminate or slag off each other, they join forces for the State!)
In the end, it was only 5 points...18-13. It could have easily gone the other way but they managed to get through the 80, 2 tries to 1.
