Two Timing Sergio
I was recently reading an article in Golf World and it was mentioned that Sergio Garcia works with two different caddies, part time with each. Glen Murray and Gary Matthews. I never knew this.
In the same article numerous other golfers refer to the long relationships they have with their caddies and how it's a help to them.
I wonder if the idea of not having a regular guy is a positive or a negative for Sergio? Obviously he thinks it works for him but i'm not sure it sounds like the best idea to me

Doesn't Ernie do the same?
He has some ex-American Footballer on the bag sometimes doesn't he?

Rossa,
Ernie's stopped that I think.
He used to have Dan Quinn, a National Hockey League player who's an excellent golfer, sharing duties with Ricky Roberts but that seems to have stopped. Someone different now, can't remember the name but not cashing in as he might have expected!
Nice to see Tony Navarro on Cabrera's bag at CS. And Dustin Johnson's fired caddie, Bob Brown, had a decent payday with Kyle Stanley yesterday.
Didn't Sergio split time with Billy Foster and Glenn Murray for a while?

Kwini,
I was close... Wasn't Ricky Roberts on the bag for pre Masters back to Back wins (Doral and Bay Hill?) afew years back before he swapped for the hockey player (as was pre agreed) and then not having a memorable Masters...

Rossa,
I think that's correct, last year! Must have been a bit of a mess, Ernie having to handle the egos that surely go along with all that.
Even more of a mess when he's playing so poorly he struggles to make any top twenties.
And to think he was my pre-season choice for Player Of The Year!

Yep sounds like over thinking the whole situation to me... and bringing complications which are not required...
