Giteau confirms Toulon deal
Australia back Matt Giteau has left the door open for a return home for the 2013 British and Irish Lions tour after confirming his decision to move to France.
The 91-Test veteran has agreed an 18-month deal at big spending Toulon, with Giteau set to complete the move from the Brumbies after the World Cup.
Giteau will join an all-star line-up, with the likes of Jonny Wilkinson, Carl Hayman and Felipe Contepomi among the internationals in the Toulon squad.
However the length of Giteau's deal with the Top 14 outfit means the 28-year-old could be available for the Lions tour.
Speaking about the deal on Twitter, Giteau said: "Signed with Toulon for 18 month deal after world cup! Love the brumbies and wanna make this yr as enjoyable as I can. Exciting times!!"

Toulon are signing some big names arent they. I am not sure if thats such a good thing as quite often big names dont always gel as a team. Giteau is a great player though and will slot into the France style of play well.

They do have a feel of the Galactico's at Real Madrid and that didn't work out well for them when it came to the top European competitions. It will be interesting to see how Toulon manage the various talents, and associated ego's, that they are aquiring.

Bang on enforcer, it will certainly be a hard job to manage these stars. If they do though, Toulon will be one hell of a side.

There are egos and then there are football egos...
I would say that managing egos in rugby is an awful lot easier than in football... generally speaking the names mentioned above are hardworking and honest... so I really don't see it as an issue.
