Thomond Park to host Rugby League World Cup
Only a possibility so far but it is hoped that Thomond Park would host some Rugby League World Cup games.

It is definitly hosting Ireland v France and will hopefully have Ireland v Australia or Ireland v Fiji too.

That'd be great if it was to happen. I'm not an RL fan myself but I'd consider it an honour for Thomond to be used for such a prestigious event. It would also give Limerick a great economy boost. So I'm all for it.

I'd definitely go to see them anyway. Especially if it was the Aussie team

Gives me a reason to come back. They need to get the Australia game if they want to pull in some crowds and interest.

Imagine those NRL players in Limerick. Limerick is a bandwagon city anyway we'd all head to it.

We'll see Stag. If they get 20,000, that'll be very good. Would love to see players like Inglis and Thurston and Billy Slater.

I'd definitely head along to that out of sheer curiosity.
Never been to a RL match.

I don't think so, if you do have France and especially Australia in your group.
I thought MBTGOG would be pleased.
