ronnie pulls out of aussie open
was hoping to see an inspired ros this season but seems to be more of the same. his reasons might be genuine but like the guy who never turns up for work on a monday it gets to be like yeah whatever.

yes im disappointed also i thought he had changed but obviously not
Re: ronnie pulls out of aussie open
It seems certain that Ronnies fell out of with the game. Anyone else think it's possible he might retire in the next few months?
Re: ronnie pulls out of aussie open
Has he said why he has pulled out?
Its a shame, I like watching Ronnie.

I think there's more of a chance Hearn will boot him off the tour.

Re: ronnie pulls out of aussie open
This is getting beyond a joke now. Ronnie is a legend of the game but its starting to get very boring reading about how he is dropping out of events.
Even if his problems are genuine this time, he has done this on so many previous occasions that even his hardcore fans are starting to get annoyed.
Ronnie should either give up the game or start to show more respect for the game that has made him what he is. Right now, he is causing more damage to the game than good.

Is anyone actually following the Aussie open?
Big chance for Selt if he can overcome the GOAT S.T Hendry.

I'm following it Eire, I see Judd was knocked out early was one of my favourites to win it.
Ken Doherty won against Stephen Maguire I see also, could see a little run from him.

I think we understand that Pauline. This may be genuine as i have said. For my work i sit many long hours on planes and am yet to have experienced any kneck or back injuries from it. If Ronnie has it now then it may well have been an existing problem and cudos for him to try to go but if he knew it would be a problem he would have been better to not take the chance.
My problem is that its becoming all too regular. It seems that Ronnie is pulling out of way too many tournements in the last few years and i cant honestly believe everything he says. The boy who cried wolf comes to mind. Eventually no-one will believe he has an injury if he continues to pull out of events letting the public, his fans and the sponsors down.

Hendry is crushed 5-1 by Selt :-(
Ding looses to 5-2 to Bingham
Wenbo beats Stevens 5-4
Selby beats Perry 5-3
Williams beats Pinches 5-2.
Would anyone bet against Williams winning this?

Re: ronnie pulls out of aussie open
I am hoping for Williams as he is just pure class.
I wonder how many World and ranking titels he would have had if had not switched off for several years. With his talent i feel that he had the ability to dominate the sport in a Hendryésq way.
Neither Higgins or Ronnie could live with him when he was at his best.

They dont on very well Bingham and Allen but it was good to see Bingham get through to the semis.
Matthew Selt 3 - 5 Shaun Murphy
Mark Allen 3 - 5 Stuart Bingham
Mark Selby v Ken Doherty Come on Ken
Dominic Dale v Mark Williams Come on Williams

Get in there Ken Doherty.
Ken Doherty 5 - 3 Mark Selby.
Ken faces Williams in 1 semi and Bingham faces Murpy in the other.

Re: ronnie pulls out of aussie open
Bingham = The new force in snooker :/
Mark (or according to Doherty, Maaak) must be kicking himself that he's let another championship slip from his grasp when only needing 1 frame to win. Well done to Bingers though, he obviously doesn't give up.
