London drinks
A few of the 606v2 worthies are getting together in central London this evening to quaff a few , probably some , definitely some , and by the end of the evening likely some as well. We'll put the world to rights, predict the RWC winner (incorrectly), and in the morning hopefully not feel too . Feel free to join us (The_Hound_of_Harrow, funnyExiledScot, his most high Moderator-Administrator-ship , hughie 1986, RiskySports, and likely a few others) - we'll be at Ye Old White Horse, 2 Saint Clement's Lane, London WC2A 2HA from about 6 onwards

Good man, OzT, it should be an entertaining evening - a Kiwi, an Englishman (or two), an Irishman, a Scotsman (or three) and an Aussie - what can go wrong?!

I hope that you guys have informed the Met about this dubious gathering.
Don't give them an excuse to restore the Combination Acts.
Bringing back transportation would be a better option.

Who is exactly residing in NZ? I am man and up enough to meet most here I imagine! I can even go an evening drinking Waikato Swamp water, Lion Red and a few jugs of Speights although bloating is expected LOL
Good chat, good kai and good beer is the emphasis of the evening, night and early morning.

Taylorman and Nganboy are in Wellington, AucklandLaurie is in Akld, I think the rest of the kiwi contingent are ex-pats. Though no doubt I've missed someone

Would have been there.
Except I moved from London in December.
I got tired of waiting there after ten years.
And the train never did bl00dy show up.

Re: London drinks
Well I reside in the Mid Far North and I guess I will be drinking with people from Japan, Tonga and Canada....I cannot recall the other club and can not be bothered looking lol.
I am hopeful to get to Wellington for the Wales v SA game and also to Hamilton to the Wales v Samoa and Fiji. The Welsh game v Namibia is well out of range in N Plymouth.
Fact is I will be in Welsh red with inflatable objects as well as man made and will be proud to wear them. I think it is up to the Kiwis to get into the excitement of things.....and I am too big for many to bleat on about my attire for too long in a gobby way:)
When Wales (possibly) lose I will return to a small wee township known as Rawene in the greatest part of NZ THE HOKIANGA and will watch the rest of the matches with my greatest mate Jack Mokoraka a wonderful Maori gentleman in his late 60's who is like a father to me and his wife Rita. An ex Northland selector and Maori representative he gives me all the cultural support and friendship I require. For Jacks 65th I bought him an Irish jersey as his roots are from Ireland, he also respects Wales as much as Sir Colin Meads does (read quotes from Sir Colin)
After all said and done, wen one talks and reads such pride and respect from true NZ legends, isit really worth listening (or reading) rudey poo posted by gg et al.

London Drinks
That's weird, its taken me until today to get onto 606 v2 since following you all over from the old 606. I've checked in occasionally and loved the banter but not posted. Now I see you are having a pint over the road from my work. Would it be ok to come along? Anyone wearing a carnation, don't have the more obvious strip with me?

Welshjohn,
You are a little concerning with your 'inflatable' man made objects.
I am assuming nothing inflatable looks like a woman? You would stand out on TV

Inflatable objects include daffodils and sheep. Man made is my 8' leek which is a bit of a beauty. An inflatable woman would be questioned by the human woman in my life. I will be standig by my wife and I assure you she would be grand on TV.

Glad to know your put your wife ahead of the inflatable woman. But, in some parts of the world, an inflatable sheep and woman are interchangeable.
What a big leek you have, mate. Can't wait to see you on TV.

OzT/nickj, I'm wearing my work clothes - a black polo-shirt and a pair of baggy shorts today. I'll also be there from 6-ish, probably talking to whose self-description is above

There was this Kiwi, an Englishman (or two), an Irishman, a Scotsman (or three) and an Aussie all in a pub discussing the world cup. One of the Englishman says...
Make sure one of you finishes the joke off by the weekend.
Good stuff. Might check out any 606ers in the Wellington area when the cups on...
