Midfielders Jack Wilshere and Abou Diaby are definitely out although Robin van Persie, Kieran Gibbs and Thomas Vermaelen should be fit.

Re: 606v2 fantasy football premier league
I think it could be due to the amount of people on the site, sorting their teams in time for tomorrow. Not sure when the cut off time is for transfers, midnight tonight rings a bell which could explain it.

@ Hobo - Torres is fit and it's likely he and Drogba will both play.
I just want to get in because I want to stare at the transfer page agonising over Drogba or Torres.

Re: 606v2 fantasy football premier league
You won't lose points for Hutton at least mate.
Swapping Sturridge & Hutton with someone and you have a pretty decent side there.
I've never had time to look at the points scoring, can someone explain how the points are worked?

Re: 606v2 fantasy football premier league
Clean sheets for defenders and goalies.
Assists scores points
Goals score points.
penalty misses lose you points, as does yellow and red cards.
Playing gets you a point, 2 if for the whole match.
Penalty save gets your keeper points as do the number of saves he makes during a game.
Think thats about it! Also a star team picked by the league - if you have a player in it, you get extra points.

Re: 606v2 fantasy football premier league
Scoring for this season;
Action
For playing up to 60 minutes 1
For playing 60 minutes or more 2
For each goal scored by a goalkeeper or defender 6
For each goal scored by a midfielder 5
For each goal scored by a forward 4
For each goal assist 3
For a clean sheet by a goalkeeper or defender 4
For a clean sheet by a midfielder i
For every 3 shot saves by a goalkeeper 1
For each penalty save 5
For each penalty miss -2
Bonus points for the best players in a match 1-3
For every 2 goals conceded by a goalkeeper or defender -1
For each yellow card -1
For each red card -3
For each own goal -2
Red Cards
If a player receives a red card, they will continue to be penalised for goals conceded by their team.
Red card deductions include any points deducted for yellow cards
Assists
Assists are awarded to the player from the goal scoring team, who makes the last touch before the goal is scored.
If after this touch, an opposing player touches the ball outside the penalty area altering the intended destination of the ball, then no assist is given, except if this intervention directly results in an own goal.
In the event of a penalty or free-kick, the player earning the penalty or free-kick gets an assist if a goal is directly scored, but not if he takes it himself, in which case no assist is given.
All assists are reviewed before the points are updated at the end of each day.
Bonus Points
The three best performing players in each match according to the EA SPORTS Player Performance Index will receive additional bonus points. 3 points will be awarded to the highest scoring player, 2 to the second best and 1 to the third.
Bonus points will be awarded on the Monday morning after the weekend matches are played. Any matches played on a weekday night will be awarded on the following morning.
Examples of how bonus point ties will be resolved are as follows:
If there is a tie for first place, Players 1 & 2 will receive 3 points each and Player 3 will receive 1 point.
If there is a tie for second place, Player 1 will receive 3 points and Players 2 and 3 will receive 2 points each.
If there is a tie for third place, Player 1 will receive 3 points, Player 2 will receive 2 points and Players 3 & 4 will receive 1 point each

Re: 606v2 fantasy football premier league
From memory I think my team is
Given (Cerny)
G.Cahill, Johnson, Kompany (Figueroa, Hughes)
Ramires, Lampard, N'Zogbia, Taarabt (Jarvis, Etherington)
DJ Campbell, Drogba, Rodallega
£3.5m left over
I'm not entirely sure but I reckon that's right.

Good idea Churchill.
I've just modified it so it includes everything from the official Fantasy Football page so that everyone is clear on how the points work.
