Will Banahan & Cueto be scared of North?
England should have fielded a much bigger back 3 to cope with George North.

Nope....
Its interesting ...theres some big expectations on that young lads shoulders. He is a talent...but let him progress in his own time before picking him up as the next "big thing"
North v Banahan could very well just cancel each other out.

I guess they will have to 'practise'. Were talking about 'practice'.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eS35bp91NRQ&feature=related
In America this dumb interview has achieved cult status, to a point where 'practise' is almost slang. It's my favourite 'practise' video, from Alan Iverson, former spolied basketball player, missed practise and answered the media about 'practise'. The laugh track was added later, but I love this. OK. not really on the point, but I like this too much. And I guess Bannanahan and Cueto will have to 'practise'.

Not really a concern on the big stakes. I think Banahan is bigger and Cueto is good with head on tackling. Now if 'Ickle Shane was playing they'd be in more trouble as Banahan and Cueto aren't the quickest.

What The George North.... The one who scored two trys on his debut and then?????????????? Not The George North that has NZ thinking of not turning up as their bricking it........... Not The George North who thinks that the earths core is a tad chilly......THAT GEORGE NORTH???????
God sake guys hes a young fairly inexperanced winger who COULD be very good, and its not like we've seen big wingers before is it. Just let him enjoy him rugby without the lable of the next great welsh hope

Some were ok some were a bit............
Its just some posters see his name on the team sheet and instanty think he is the first/ second/ third coming of the welsh saviour, and that nothing can stop a big winger and he will just walkover all attepted tackles

I'm pretty sure this thread wasn't meant to be taken seriously and was in the vein of Chuck Norris rather than he is the new messiah of rugby

Re: Will Banahan & Cueto be scared of North?
GeorgeNorth sold his soul to the devil for his rugged good looks and unparalleled martial arts ability. Shortly after the transaction was finalized, George roundhouse kicked the devil in the face and took his soul back. The devil, who appreciates irony, couldn't stay mad and admitted he should have seen it coming. They now play poker every second Wednesday of the month.

George North could turn out to be a bit like Steve Hanley. Good for his club but not required for his country...

Re: Will Banahan & Cueto be scared of North?
To be honest George was not in the best of form coming to the end of the season. He was dropping ball, and over running passes. Hopefully he has made enough of a rest to have sorted these things out, but I wouldn't want to pin Wales hopes on his young shoulders, not matter how good I believe he will be in the future.
(also side note: i was born in England, and lived there as long as George did, but I would not/have not classed myself as English ever, so odds are neither has he)

The irony over this who was born where debate and then bringing Banahan into the mix is interesting.
As a Jerseyman, Banahan is not actually English. Being born in Jersey means he could of played for any of the home nations.

For once I am very happy to agree with nottins. North looks like a very exciting talent but I doubt Cueto or banaman will be quaking in their boots. The only thing that frightens Cueto is scoring tries.

Agree with SS, North is a tremendous talent but he wasnt in good form at the tail end of the season, overcooking things a bit too much imo.
However he can eat more cowpies than desperate dan(for those of you who dont remember comics google him) whilst farting "Mae hen wlad"

North, is quick and strong, but he doesn't have the greatest hands. Also Cueto and Banahan aren't small guys themselves. I can't see why they would be scared.

Some say he has a fear of white lines due to him being allergic to paint, and that he’s scared of whistles... all we know is, he's called Mark Cueto.
