Smarts, ive been hearing from you and many other Arsenil fans you the best team in the country, you will win a trophy or 2 this season for years. All you have actually done is decline. Have a look at your premier league finishing place record.

Yes smarts, we had Darren Fleitcher and Michael Carrik playing as centre backs for what, 3 matches! Only one senior recognised defenderfit our of our squad. So YES you really had much worse injuries.

I still think Arsenil will be competitive this season........for fourth place.

Usually I want all English teams to do well in Europe but I hope to Flip Udinese knock you out. Might shut you delude fools up for a bit.

My cuz is an Arsenal fan, season ticket holder Smarts so he actually GOES, even he can be real and admit you are not as good as you think/want to be.

The season you had to play Carrick CB for 1 game. That season we had worse injuries than you, the worst injuries I have seen in a premier league season.

I know we are not the same team Viva, but to move to the new stadium and still stay competitive on a shoe string budget has been an amazing achievement. If it wasn't for sugar daddies at Chelsea and Man City Arsenal would still be the team with Man Utd competing for everything. But thats the way it has gone. I still think we will be competitive but I think it is late in the day to bring in top players so I'm wondering who could be Arsenals signings.

We are all rose-tinted about our sides and have inflated opinions about them. It's part of being a supporter.

Anyway, forget Arsenal. What about Everton this season?

No players in, but kept Fellaini, Baines and Jags (so far)

I believe we got to the CL final 1 year with that team Nick. We also were invinceable, something the great Man Utd have never and will never achieve lol

Everton have made no signings Afro? That must be frustrating for Moyes. I think it might make sense to sell Baines/Jags for big cash and bring in 2 or 3 players.

I don't think Arsenal fans are any more deluded than any other set of supporters.

And Arsenal are not cack in Europe, regularly getting to QFs and SF, and the one final. Take away your win 2 years ago and the pasting from Barcelona last year, United's is not much different.

Man Utd injuries 09/10

VDS out for 8 weeks with broken finger
Vidic missed first 2 matches with a calf injury
Neville also missed the start off season
Hargreaves out
Nani dislocated his shoulder
Ben Foster missed three weeks because of England
Jonny Evans missed three weeks with ankle injury

An that was just in August lol

Smartest don't say you don't have money, you have a very high wage bill, wages attracts players. Which gives you the chance to snap up the young players by giving them high wages. It is Wenger who does not spend, don't say you don't have the money he don't like to spend. Chelsea had more money then United and could outbid us for any player, it came as a shock but Ferguson had a plan, it took a couple of years and we even got knocked out of the champions league in the group stages but what happend after that a couple of league titles, champions league and domestic cups. Now that is what you call a manager.

We have a high wage bill to attract young players. But cannot compete for the established players in terms of wages or transfer fees. I have seen Arsenals accounts, in the latest set there was about £40M net to spend. Do you think the board would allow them to spend all of that £40M? Not a chance.

I'm not living in the past mate, you brought up the past saying we didn't compete with you.
I'm very happy with Arsenal, the current squad, the manager and our prospects for next season. Do I think we are better than Man Utd 11 v 11 even without Fabregas and Nasri I think so and I think we will beat you this season. Will we finish above you in the league, that would be tough. For me Man Utd are second favourites for the title behind Man City and closely followed by Chelsea. Arsenal are 4th favourites but I still believe we could do it.

I think they have tried some loan moves but been knocked back.

We really needed to sell some deadwood and it didn't happen.

Rumours were that we were looking to raise £8m from sales of Yak and Yobo and use that (plus some money we got from James Vaughan's sale) to fund N'Zogbia. But we couldn't get buyers for them.

It is frustrating, but we now it is the case every season. We can only buy if we sell. I think it just highlights what a good job Moyes has actually done to keep us Top 7 every season

chance to snap up the young players by giving them high wages - Yep, why do you think Ramsey join you rarther then us. Oxlade-Chamberlain the lastest one.
Bale went Spurs as they play high wages and he knew he could past Evra

Do Bale and Evra play the same position Nick.

I don't think Ramsey and Oxlade-Chamberlain are on high wages Nick. Ramsey joined us because Wenger caught a plan from abroad to come and persuade him, showed him he cares.
Ramsey will be a top player this season Smile I.A.

We also were invinceable, something the great Man Utd have never and will never achieve lol
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

LOL is that why you lost more games in that season then United did in our treble winning lol. An don't call yourself unbeaten cause you look like an idiot, or in that case I can say Man City had an unbeaten season last season, so did Pompey when they won the FA Cup and so on.

And Arsenal are not cack in Europe, regularly getting to QFs and SF, and the one final. Take away your win 2 years ago and the pasting from Barcelona last year, United's is not much different.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The thing what people don't understand is United were competiting for every single cup around that time, semis in fa cup, finals in carling cup, top of the league, an you don't know how to difficult it is to just win the prem never mind contesting for the other 3 cups and only United could do that, teams like Arsenal or Liverpool can only compete for one, and that just shows how much of a bigger team we are then Arsenal. Remember when Liverpool came 2nd how bad did they do in Europe? United play for everything or die, wheras Arsenal will be happy with the Carling Cup.

Afro why don't we take away half of Man Utds league titles, couple of FA cups, all our Champions league titles and then we'll be equal to Arsenal lol.

We were invinceable in the Premier League Viva. That is why everybody called us the invinceables.

Why have Man Utd not brought in a new CM? I think that is why you will end up surrenduring the title to Arsenal because our CM area is so much better than yours.

Who do you think will get relegated?

Oh in the Premier League lol HAHAHAHAHAHA.

So Man Utd are also unbeaten, so are Chelsea, Liverpool, Everton, Newcastle, Villa, Spurs and many others because we have also gone unbeaten ..... in the FA Cup lol.

An who was Uniteds midfield last season? Minus Scholes its the same lol so you are saying Paul Scholes is better then the whole of Arsenals midfield including your best player ever Fabregas lol. I know Paul Scholes is top three players of all time but I didn't know he was that good he stopped Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea from winning the title.

Who do you think will get relegated?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Probably Man Utd we don't have as many league winners in our squad as we did last season. Wink

How did I know that you two would answer with that.

Noone is dissing United's performance. My point is, 2 years ago you would not have said United's performance was cack. Not as good as it could have been, but not cack.

My example was that two years ago United's record was similar to Arsenal, so you cannot call them cack in Europe

Smarts - Yobo's loan ended. Fenerbahce wanted to sign him, but didn't want to pay the £4m agreed fee, Looks like he will go back to Fenerbahce, but for £2m

Yak is also back because Leicester wouldn't pay his wages. Did well for them last year scoring 11 goals in 20 games

Pick the best 3 from each...
Ramsey
Wilshire
Song

Fletcher
Anderson
Carrick

I would rather have Arsenals starting CMs, but as soon as Arsenal get injuries, they are stuffed. United can replace with players who will do as good a job.

That is why United win the league and Arsenal don't

Wilshire
Carrick
Fletcher

I pick those because Wilshire is good, young so the support of title winners like Carrick and tough tackling Scotland Captain Fletcher would make a good midfield three. IMO

HUmm, Ramsey and Ando on the bench for me. Ramsey still has a lot of learning to do, same as Wilshire but his talent gets him in. Carrick can be fustrating at times but the guy knows how to do a job and most importantantly, how to get it done! Thats one think the youth of Ramsey and Wilshire dont have yet

Carrick
Anderson

Because they have actually PROVED it and have won the title, the other three you are just saying what you THINK or how it would work in Furios League not real life.

Nick let them have the Wilsheres and Ramseys and Chamberlains, we'll keep our players who actually win the title not fairy story make believe.

Lets take for example Nicks spurs midfield on here.

-------------------Cambiasso
-------------Modric--------------VDV
Lennon---------------------------------------Bale

vs

----------------------Fletcher
----------Carrick--------------Anderson
Nani---------------------------------------Young

Now if this midfield played on Furious league Nicks midfield would win 10-0 but if it was played in real life, I bet you Man Utd would win.

That's right. United better give back Young, De Gea and Jones because they haven't won the league and you are better off with players who have.

Why does SAF actually sign new players? Why not keep the same team who won the league?

In fact Rooney played in an Everton team that finished 17th the season before you bought him. He must have been much worse than Luke Chadwick and Quinton Fortune who had won the league 2 years before.

Why are you being "Akward Afro" for? You know what I mean, Rooney you can see the potential thats why he went straight to the England senior team. Wilshere is going to be a top player but none of them have that mental state on how to kill a game or win games like champions do. So at this moment why would I swap a championship winning team for nursery school kids.

An not once did I say the Man Utd trio are better, I just said I rather have them.

Afro, SAF purchased Young, De Gea and Jones as they have the talent to not only strenghten the Man United squad but to win trophies. When they learn off the trophie winners like Carrick, Giggs, Fletcher and so on they will go win one. Then they will want more and win more. I do fully believe they will carry on winning for many years to come.

Now the difference come when these young players at Arsenil have no one to learn from. The have no one to look up to. They have no one to pick them up when the going gets tough. They have no one to grab a game by the scruff of its neck and change it. They have no one to lead the way. no one.....NO ONE !!!!

SirJonny is reading our page again the pervert. I'm going to complain about him.

Nick say sorry, these topics get hot and Smarts likes to WUM but we don't insult each other. An I can tell calling him a D-Head was typed with venom and anger.

Why are you two so anti-Arsenal?

Yes they are not as strong as United, but they are still a very good team.

And no I don't Nick. He is on holiday, but he said he was going to get on to post them.

Afro, I cant stand Arsenal fans. I know a lot and My cuz and two friends are the only one who ive met that talk sence. All three have season tickets so the could be why.

Most think there the best team around since sliced bread. There not and they cant accept that. The simply facts is Arsenal are not a great team.

Most I know don't think that at all, only a majority.

But I have the same experience with United and Liverpool supporters. the majority accept their teams strengths and weaknesses and the minority can't stand anyone criticising anything about their team.
