Morning.

I blame Smartest for the injuries we got, on Friday he was saying how Arsenal get more, flippin liar and now he put a Hex on us.

I believe in Jones, Smalling and Evans I know they can do a good job for us.

An Wayne Rooney should never captain Man Utd, I still won't forget what he said last season. Others may have forgiven him but I never will.

Hey how long is Vidic out for guys? DeGea is starting to look like the new Taibi, I hope this is the case lol. If Van Der Sar was still in between the sticks I think you could take the title right now lol.

Gervinho getting a red card on his debut lol He was looking our most dangerous player up until that point to. The rules are stupid Joey Barton rips him up from the floor by the scruff of his neck and gets a yellow, Gervinho taps his head and gets a red lol. Song should have seen red though so its all good.

I liked the look of Liverpool, very direct football.

Udinese, Liverpool & Man Utd are next run of fixtures. Could be tough!

Also looking to raise some cash, would like to get a deal wrapped up this morning.

Vidic is out for two-three weeks, with De Gea, it's too early to say.

Song, Gervinho and Barton should all have been red carded for me.

Ouch, 2 big injuries there. Fergie always says that and they make a miraculous recovery the next week lol.
Ramsey had a decent game didn't he? Even Rosicky played well. Newcastle stuck 11 men behind the ball at home, but Arsenal couldn't create much. If we had a Nasri or Fabregas playing we would have killed them. I think we will need another creative player, although Wilshire could do that job well.

Smartest why are you talking like Wenger for, so what if they put 11 men behind the ball, it's Football tactics you have to break them. You think teams say to Man Utd ok we'll bend over and open ourselves for you. Happens to all the big teams, Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Everton.

Afro my holidays are only like 1 days no point putting them up.

Nick my homie for life, can you do me two sick lawyers offers to celebrate Uniteds winning start.

Everton lol
I'm just saying what happened in the game Viva. Not complaining as you will see I said that Arsenal didn't create much.

Szczesny looks a brilliant goalkeeper was very commanding on Saturday. Szczesny > DeGea

Ok! Viva

Next week there are 4 out of 10 of us definately out, plus Mouse probably for some of it.

Do we want to take another weeks break? I am happy to PM my tactics and to draw injuries for 2 weeks this week. However, there will be no TPs, no releases and any domestics this week would make next weeks injuries out of date

Good point Smarts - if 5 of us are out, there could be as few as 3 managers voting on some results.

That is not enough, so plan is

Week 7 tactics in by Friday this week.
Week 7 voting will open on Monday and be open all week until Tuesday 30th
Week 8 tactics in by Friday 2nd September

Can you all vote asap, so that I can open the tactics as early as possible this week.

Sounds like a plan Afro, best thing as no-one will be submitting tactics next friday (26th) or voting for week 7 next mon (22nd) so its for the best i think Ok!

Yea they say it was all Liverpool but thats only because of the possession. First half was all Liverpool, ill give them that but the 2nd half we gave a right good go of it and deserved a point in the end which was a fair result.

He is very young and I expect him to make more mistakes but I think he will become a fantastic keeper and much better then any of your keepers and your Schezny has made mistakes last season.

Keeping Wumming Smarts, that's all you have when you can't talk Football about your team, the new Liverpool.

I don't need Afro to tell me who is better, I know De Gea is the better keeper. You've been wumming all your life against United, saying this player is better, that player is better but United still finished about Arsenal. I know you are jealous of United and come on here to try and pretend that Arsenal are better an get the likes of Afro to back you up so you don't feel sad but deep down you know Man Utd team is better then Arsenals. Keep telling yourself that Smarts, I feel sorry for you.

Nice to see the young United players doing so weel against City and West Brom, guess the Arsenal youngsters is just a myth they never seemed to have aged from 2006 lol.

To be fair it wasn't the best performance. Dominated the game but didn't look sharp enough upfront. RVP was out of sorts and could have one the game for us on about 3 occasions if he was on form.

Ashley Young looks like he is hungry to play for Utd. Do you think Carrick will lose his place to Cleverley?

Nick two bad boy lawyers please.

Smarts too early to say, Cleverly has loads to prove two games don't make you a bad man you need to do it constantly. I know people like to slate Carrick but I like him, he may not be flashy or score goals but he keeps the game ticking and he knows what to do when you need to win or kill a a game off. Cleverly is 22 now not like he is a baby.

I didnt think much of Gervinho. Run around a lot (dribbles) but just lacked the team play, several times he should of released the ball a lot earlier/quicker but instead he decided to try take on more players. He should learn though. Also hes a fag, slapping people.

You defence survived the deadley Newcastle attack spearheaded by Shola Ameobi so I will give you credit for that.

Obertan looks like he might be a decent signing for Utd.

I thought Gervinho looked our most dangerous player before he got sent off, very fast. In pre season he was taking shots on so not sure why he didn't go for goal against Newcastle. Maybe he was nervous, but hopefully when he returns from his ban he will settle down a bit.

Hoping Arsenal make atleast 2 signings by the end of the window, a commanding CB and a creative midfielder.

I have to agree with Nick, Gervinho is like the black guy in your school team who thought he was better then everyone and didn't like to pass. An then he moans and cries why he never made the Cup Final team lol.

Gervinho first touch is not that good and the ball was getting stuck under his feet, maybe he ain't on the same level as Arsenal passing style.

In pre season he looked very good. First touch much better than Walcotts and link up play was good, I was dissapointed with his final ball against Newcastle. I think we will see much better from him after his ban. Does he have the biggest forehead in the world?

You tried to say he was inconsistent last year Afro then I hit you with this:
Attacker – Gervinho (Lille)
Appearances: 35
Goals/assists: 15/9

Not strictly a striker, but Gervinho is pushed into this role for expediency. Bitterly disappointed to be left out of the nominations for Ligue 1’s Player of the Season, and given the numbers he accrued over the course of the campaign, he has every reason to feel aggrieved. Arguably the most consistent of LOSC’s fearsome offensive trio, Gervinho is another player with wonderful technique.

Gervinho is consistent ........... in being inconsistent.

He is an ok player, nothing special and won't make us the say, he will plod along through the seasons scoring some goals for Arsenal and some assists he will score one or two good goals which will make Smartest get hard for him. That is all, he will still end up as a loser and win nothing.

Walcott has just come back from injury. Last season he made a decent impact, chipped in with a few goals, to injury prone though. He can be devastating like against Barcelona when he ripped Maxwell. Or shocking like against Newcastle, however because he has just come back from injury I will let him off Smile

"Walcott is another one, I think hes made very little progress since joining Arsenil."

I think Walcott has made a decent amount of progress, bought for the same price as Bebe and he has made a lot more progress than him.
