Sangat - yeah I was watching that a bit last night.

Sunderland have made some signings. Im proper torn on my Fantasy Team, I duno if I should have good midfield of all 7.5-8.5 players, once top striker with two cheap 6.5 ones or two top strikers and sacrifice midfield and have two 6m midfieldser. AHHHHHH Doing my fricking nut in and I have 2 1/2 days to study the fixture list and finalise.

Van Persie if he stays fit.

I've joined the Furious League Fantasy Football but I want to leave, I find it hard to want Drogba, Fabregas to score goals so they get points on my fantasy team.

At those prices, I would take Chicharito, Carroll and Aguero.

Lampard is massive value, especially each way. If you take last season out, then he regularly gets 20+ goals. 50s is a massive price for someone with that kind of goalscoring record.

I dont think Lamps will, last season shows whats going to happen to him. Hes being benched for England too, hes on a downer.
Steven Gerrard at 66, refelcts the same as Lamps, old, getting injured all the time, not a good last season. Also being replaced in England team too from what iver heard.

E?W pays top 4.

Carroll im interested in as an E/W
Nani im very much considering E/W, £5 e/w so £10 bet, 5x66=330. 330/4 = 82.50 win if hes in the top four off £10. nice profit of 70+

Nobody fancy Peter Odemwingie??? He came fifth last season by 2 goals i think

If you look at last 6 years Lampard will be up there, getting 20+ goals but if you look at it season by season there was always a couple of players who scored more then him. I wouldn't waste money on Lampard he has never won it and will not win it now.

It don't, I can see Lampard still scoring 20+ in all comps.

Last edited by VivaPaulScholes on Wed 10 Aug 2011, 12:10 pm; edited 1 time in total (Reason for editing : Meant to say don't not does. Lampard probably get 20 in all comps but not sure if he scores enough in the league, it they got Modric or a a midfielder who can chip in with goals he may score less. I think this is a long reason for editing.)

Andy - I put Smarts on the case yesterday and asked him to do it.

I'm not sure Lampard will be top 4, but if he repeats his performance of the previous 5 years, and not last year, then he won't be a long way behind. That is not a 50/1 chance in my book.

However, I do think Chicharito will be top scorer, mainly because RVP will get injured again.

1228: FOOTBALL - Manchester United's on-loan winger Bebe is sidelined for around six months after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, Turkish club have announced

Reports are that although it meant he couldn't play any football, he stayed on the pitch for the rest of the game and noone could tell the difference.

I actually rate Kaboul as a better defender then Johnson but I think going by what I heard from fans, people, 606 and media Johnson is rated higher.

Hey guys, sorry have not been on at all today. Will reply to TP's now.

Regarding the above, Roger Johnson is not the hero you guys are all making him out to be. King & Kaboul are both better defenders than him, he is a decent player but from watching him at Cardiff and seeing him in the EPL I don't think he would have been a good signing for any of Liverpool, Arsenal or Spurs. Scott Dann I'm not sure of but I think his positional sense is a lot better than Rogers. Ledley King when fit is a top defender and Kaboul is also pretty decent and had some top performances last season.

Birmingham got relegated with that defence. It's not just the CB's that make the defence. McLeish set up his whole team to defend, they were one of the lowest scoring teams in the league.
