Steve Walsh turns a blind eye to an obvious All Blacks knock on. Has some one pointed out to him that it's England?

Yeah that suprised me, Wales would of been incensed if England had scored from that.
Though England are looking far stronger at the moment.

Remember its most of these guys first game for months, it will happen because none of them are match fit. It's the off season.

Re: England V Wales Coverage
really poor last 10 mins of rugby from both sides. Some really poor positioning from the Welsh players in defence at times. Wilko not playing well unless he puts boot to ball.

Right decision by Wilkinson to drop a goal. Wales are defending very well, and enough is enough.

Not happy with Walsh's reffing for either side. He seems to ignore any player that's offside at the moment, tis quite frustrating.

Re: England V Wales Coverage
Yes Wales were looking tired for those last 5 minutes. johnny was right to drop the goal there as England have been dominant up front.
I think Huw Bennett has been brilliant, only 1 dodgy line out and he;s been hitting the rucks very hard and tackling everything, very pleased for him and thankful he isn't balllsing up another game for Wales.
Mike Phillips is doing everything he can to keep pressure off Priestland to with kicking though in the last few minutes of the half his passing looked a bit tired.
It looks like a typical Wales Vs England game to be honest. Either England will score early an hammer Wales, or Wales will catch them on the break and make it a tight game.

Alyn - agree with you on Huw Bennett, he's actually playing really well, I am very pleasently surprised by that.
A bit worried about our scrum, and Lydiate and Warburton have been fairly annonymous. No proepr backline play from us either really. Again. Nothing off first phase, when are we ever going to try it?!

Howler of a knock-on, can't believe it was blatantly ignored. Wales looked good in all areas for the first 20 minutes. The first time I've seen us play Rugby in years.

That one dodge lineout lead to Englands try. Lydiate's putting in the hits.
Hopefully we can get some territory and we see how it goes..

Rasonably pleased with that half. Front 5 have done well, and Tuilagi and Armitage have both looked good. Need to see more from Flutey second half as don't think he has done a great deal.

Armitage I agree has looked really good for you guys so far Pete. Not been impressed with Tuilagi at all (I bet I regret saying that, he'll have a brilliant 2nd half just to spite me ) and you're right, Flutey needs to get involved more.
Looks like both sides are still experiencing the same problems they had throught the 6N's.

Re: England V Wales Coverage
Wilkinson needs another 16 points to match Carter, he might get them second half IF (and it's a big one) England can sort out the midfield and stop using Shaw as a first receiver off the back of rucks - he needs a 30 yard stretch to get up to speed.
I think England took a lot out of the Wales pack at the scrum and if that continues there could be a few mis-matches coming up in the second half.
Wales have looked dangerous on the counter though, and it could go either way, but if Wales come out and score first they could move the game away quickly. England don't look convincing with ball in hand.

get Phillips off now, so slow, so slow, all our good work being undone by slooooow passing.
Nice too see that from Care to stop the play when he can see Stodds is injured. Hope it's nothing too bad.

Re: England V Wales Coverage
Bennett and Faletau are playing well for Wales.
Care is having a great game, as is Shaw for England.
Stoddard got tackles and looked like he was in a lot of pain the English asked the ref to stop play in fairness, he was stretchered off.
It's taken the momentum out of the game sadly. both teams are stuggling to get going now.
