I agree with that list entirely, except Man City (too good) and Sampdoria (too poor)

Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Season 1
1. Afro, the mix up was already discuees. thats fine.
2. Im pretty confident if this is set up in pages etc all the people who registered their interest will turn up. So far its been 2/3 weeks and they have seen nothing happen. Cant blame them for not keeping an eye or having faith.
3. The biggest of all. I cant be arsed to do it! I am either going to wreck another league or carsh and burn like a 747 into towers with this league because the commitment will drop in one of the league and things will stop getting done. If im busy at work one morning and say your busy in the Furious league then what. people will drift away.
I am not prepared to do this Game World with any amount of un-natural risk. I say un-natural because there is always a natural risk when setting up a new league. The fact is you have RE-OPENED the Furious League after shutting it down which contains all managers who were comming into this one. Now some managers have built their team up in there and will focus more on that. Some managers have taken over one, they like the idea of starting fresh with a team to make their own, hence Furious Association. There will eventually be a split, thing wont get done, managers drop out etc and some league will die.
Hero, Mighty, Liam and Cricket all said they would rarther start a fresh. I would too. Why RE-OPEN the league again??
More importantly who wants it open again?
Have you asked managers if they want both and can commit to both or if the want one or the other.
I know with the work this GameWorld will provide I can not commit one bit to the Furious League, I will have way too much to do here.
going on that I dont see how you will manager to help with both + work situation.
Andy is in on whichever, but is limited to online time right now.
Fan will joing this, not the Furious League.
CricketFan said he would help here, you think if hes busy hes goign to have time for another league? Depends how much time he has and how much he will put in/commit.

Not to mention other people. Ive had offers from many managers to help with this. I can see it messig up with people helping here, there, helping in one and being in both, blar blar blllaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Basically I want 100% fully commited managers because thats the only way this will work and become the best league knowen.

Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Season 1
OK Nick.
We were never really going to restart the Furious League. I just decided to make you sweat a little and have a little Friday WUM.
You have put a lot of work in and I would never really tread on that, and I am prepared to help out on this league as much as I can. I couldn't do that if I was still running FL.
Sorry, if I made steam come out of your ears.
BTW - I have advertised to see if we can get more managers as well.
PS in case it wasn't clear, the Furious League is closed. All the managers who posted on there this morning know that.

Ohh Few. Thanks Afro. No steam as I was trying to keep calm and explain my thoughts properly which I dont know if I managed to.
Fan with a Flan I love that name, thats your new name! Fan with a Flan.
First is first, Fan can you check how many from LSTD ja606 league are still interested please.
Need a head count as that does dermine how the GameWorld is set up.
Once I know that I can start banging out Stickys (not the ones your mom likes) and getting it all built.

Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Season 1
Your right. All it tends to do it dilute the risk of getting injuries to key players.
Definately agree there should be some restriction.
What we had just done on Furious League was that the number of injuries was determined by the number of players. So the bigger your squad, the more injuries you got (think it was 1 injury per 8 players)

So in the most extreme scenario, you could have 16 players out injured 1 week and 15 fit

Each week you have a max of 4 injuries
They can be out from anything to 1 to 4 weeks
when x player is fit another injury will be added to make up the 4
Injuries done at random
If trouble working this out I can do injuries lol

if 12 managers would it not be better with one league?
Take 3 clubs feom England, Italy, Spain, Germany/France?
Not top clubs
ie
Spuds, Liverpool, Arsenal
Juventus, Napoli, Udinese
Valencia, A.Madrid, Sevilla
leverkuesen, Stuggart, W.Bremen
or whatever

Your going to have to co-ordinate this setting up Nick as different people will need to set-up different pages.
Are you planning for one person to run all 3 league homepages, or each league runner?

I'll take Arsenal then. An that means one team misses out on a game. Better to keep it even numbers.

Think that defeats Nick's plan with this league to have individual leagues and to have "European" competitions

We could do with 6 more managers and have 3 leagues of 6.
Or 4 more managers and 4 leagues of 4.
Shall I advertise? Hero - am I okay to flood the different football pages advertising

Yep. I'll do one Nick.
We need people comfortable with BBCode.
Plus are we going to be in the league we are running, or does it actually matter?
Also, set-up a template so all 3 pages are the same, which makes it easier to find your way around the whole gameworld

People make Vidal out to be some super bad boy midfielder. He is good but not world class. I'm sure he would be at a much bigger team then Juve if he was so good, the way people make him to be is like he is the Messi of DM.
I hope there is less moaning on this league.

Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Season 1
Afro, yeah you can be in the league your running. But injuries for that leage will be done by someone outside that league. As runner homepage is vital.
Afro will join me on the committee. Need one more. Then TP need majority of us to "back" it so 2 out of 3 to say yes and its a goer.
Team will be picked at random.
Once Pages are sorted I will make some draw to assign team into league a, b or c. them a draw for managers. then a draw to match manager to club.
Bish Bash Bosh, Nick Furys your uncle!!
