Eirebilly - with regards to Moore I say biased towards England as he goes on about them so much, sometimes even when commentating on a game England aren't even playing in. And he is always very dismissive of the other teams. When I finally watched the Wales vs Argentina game last night (I saw it live) it was soo much more enjoyably with out Moore commentating (there's a pun in there somewhere) and he's ranting, it was great.
I like JD and Butler even though they are very biased, though being Welsh it's easier to cope with.
But for me Ibanez and Nicol are the best.

But those of outside of Wales find J. Davies a total waste of space.
Please keep him to yourself

Fair enough - I think I'm speaking for most people outside of England in saying that Moore is one of the worst commentators ever and please keep him to yourselves.

Ibanez, Wood, Fitz, Moore - good pundits
Hooking pundits of the future -
Rory Best - could be good
Steve Thompson - I dont think so, will probably go into coaching.
Lee Mears - ?
Jerry Flannery - could be another good one, although like Thompson I think will go into coaching.
Jon Smit - will do and has done punditry

I like Will Greenwood. There, I've said it.
I think he brings a great enthusiasm to the job, whether he's talking about England or not, and actually played with a lot of the players whoare still currently playing so has a good insight into their characters etc.
Dewi Morris is funny, the game is so simple in his eyes. He's going to go mad at some point.
Barnes, well, a bit hyperbolic at times, can take or leave him.
Jonathan Davies needs to man up and take the reigns at a club somewhere.
Gwyn Jones is the most astute analyst of the game at present I think.

This man is full of truth, the few times I've had to listen to an Aussie commentary this guy makes me want to gouge my ears out. Yes, my ears. Gouged. Go figure.
Best pundits I've ever been lucky enough to listen to were John Drake (RIP big fella, tighthead prop btw) & Keith Quinn. Both of them provided awesome commentary. Although TJ is pretty biased on Re-Union I do find them pretty good to listen to on the whole.
Current pundit I can't really stand from NZ is Justin Marshall, his mouth is just as bad off the field as it was on (love how Cory Jane proved him absolutely wrong..). And tbh, I find Fitzy to have a bit of a NH bias, but I guess fairs fair, that's where his paycheque is coming from these days.

Nothing...try dealing with Stuart Barnes...looks like a prop but wasn't. think she knows rugby but doesn't.

Actually I think Marshal is pretty good. I'm a Jane fan but I think the line about him being lucky was correct

Pienaar´s comment the only difference between my jogging pace and a flat out sprint was a facial expression was priceless.
Commentators all fail when you compare them to Bill McLaren: objectivity, rugby knowledge, descriptive powers and humour. He´s sadly missed.

It takes a certain kind of mentality to go head to head holding on to 40 stone of beer and kebab. They do make me laugh, I like Moore he tells it like it is as some people can be wishy washy. And it takes a FRU to tell people what's going on at scrum time, backs just make me laugh.

Nobody else could deliver lines like "it's high enough, it's long enough and it's straight enough" like the master.
