Kerry Team v Mayo
Team as follows:
Brendan Kealy, Killian Young, Marc Ó Sé, Tom O'Sullivan, Tomas Ó Sé, Eoin Brosnan, Aidan O'Mahony, Anthony Maher, Bryan Sheehan, Darran O'Sullivan, Declan O'Sullivan, Donnchadh Walsh, Colm Cooper, Kieran Donaghy, Kieran O'Leary.
I have a bad feeling about this game from a Kerry perspective and it is getting worse as the days go by. Mayo were going to win midfield even before Galvin was ruled out and now with him out their % possession in there will rise further. We are playing Tomás O Sé even though he is injured. Will he last the full game? Likewise with Darran O Sullivan. The manager probably did not want to leave him out with the form he is in. But can you really recover from a hanstring injury that quickly? Will he last? Eoin Brosnan is still in there because we simply have no alternative. Cooper has been quiet in recent games probably reaching burn-out as he has been playing constantly for club and county over the past 18 months. I think the bookies have it wrong. I would put Mayo as favourites.

If Mayo can get their heads straight they have every chance, but we have seen teams freeze in Croker before and that's my worry for them.
Kerry are getting on a bit and should Mayo be right with them at the start of the 2nd half, Kerry will really struggle.
Mayo to win.

I thought Dublin would like to win the AI by beating Kerry.

It's a bit of a double edged sword that Redtop...beating Kerry would be brilliant because they're a very good side...but then we've more chance of losing against them too...and I just want a Dublin win!

No offence, but I was hoping that Tyrone would get past Dublin in the quarters to set up a possible meeting with Kerry in the Final so that we could hand out a drubbing to them. However ye got there first.

I doubt that. This Kerry team have been winning AI's before and after Tyrone arrived on the scene and would have beaten the red hand out the gate this year (with all the faults we have). Consistency seems to be a major problem for Tyrone in that they could lose to almost any team in the country. Team of the Decade me a*se!

Re: Kerry Team v Mayo
In '08 we had an idiot of a manager and we still nearly won it. Plus Paul Galvin did the team no favours that year with his antics.
We can't get a chance for revenge because ye ran away and have'nt been back since.

why all the excuses great teams dont do that you dont hear us going on and on about stuff when we get beat you will only hear praise and o shea won an-ireland so he cant be much of an idiot.
you had 05 and 08 to get revenge you failed twice.

O Shea was an idiot! He had one plan. Kick a big high ball into Donaghy all day long. No problem for the Tyrone backs. That is not an excuse for us losing. Ye won fair and square. That is a criticism widely held in Kerry against our own management team of that year.

his tactics seemed to have worked in 07 and other than us he would have led kerry to 3 in a row and they probably would have been considered one of the best kerry sides ever so he cant be all bad.

Well I'm rooting for my neighbours and I think they will give Mayo a right drubbing.
Unlike some I would love to see a Kerry V Dublin final.
All Dublin have to do now is get past the puke merchants next week.

Interestingly,RTE have gone for a Mayo win. I really don't think they are that good, expect Kerry to win by 5.

Nah, Pat takes home the trophy for the all-Ireland senior paranoia championship with the job he does on tyrone's siege walls. If its to curb nordie insecurity it dosen't seem to be working.
I'd like the westies to win sam. A dublin v kerry final would be awful, we'd never hear the end of it and regardless who wins we'd still never hear the end of it. Kerry are obviously a great side but they are getting on wee bit and I think they've got a few injury problems including the galvinator. Am expecting a tight game but still have a feeling Kerry will triumph though.

Lets call a spade a spade here. If you were an alien from outer space who wanted to watch "Good football" then you would want to see, in order,
Kerry(great to watch)
Dublin(not great to watch)
Mayo(not great to watch)
Donegal( id prefer to watch a replay of the 90 minutes of Austria Germany World Cup 1982)

Kerry can do the dirty too but it isn't their default setting by any means.
either of the O'Sullivans have a case for POTY at the minute after some fast direct running all season from Darran and some stylish smart play from Declan......
I still hate them.

I would love to see a Kerry Dublin Final with Dublin throwing off the shackles and having a real go........there is a lot of football in Dublin but i don't see them getting over Donegal to make it happen..............

No rose tinted glasses on here.
Compared to the utter puke that comes out of Ulster every year they are sublime.
