Congrats to Kerry and Donegal
Good win for both counties. Loved Kerry captain Michael Boyle's cheek for asking his county board during his acceptance speech for a team holiday for winning the Christy Ring Cup and for asking for their manager John Myler to be retained.
By-the-way, who was Lory Meagner?

Sorry, yes of course, congrats to London. I'm posting at work, so my posts are usually off the top of my head. Internet not working at home.

I wonder will Kerry go in for Liam next year? I don't know if it will do them much good or bad.
They compete in div 2, so maybe it isn't the worst idea in the world.

I hope they do. They actually have a lot more hurling team's /club's in Kerry than I thought. I would'nt mind seeing Dublin giving them a beating alright, get them in.

Re: Congrats to Kerry and Donegal
The last time Kerry competed in the MSHC was 2000. They are hoping to be back in the championship within three to four years. Unless, of course, there is a rule change that would allow them to enter into the championship at the qualifier stage. Such a move may have some merit where they could get games against the likes of Carlow, Westmeath, Antrim or Laois.
Kerry are making great strides at the moment but then there was always little pockets of Kerry where hurling was and is more popular than football. The GAA should do more for counties who are weak in one code and are trying to improve, like allowing them to appoint a full-time director to keep things moving.
Anyone know if they compete in the Muster Minor and U21 championship.

They aren't in either at the minute. do you lead from the top or the bottom?
what does another year of CR do for them? Their position in division 2 is bringing them on as much as anything. Would a likely hammering in championship in Munster do anything for them?
Maybe it takes that to give them a crack at the qualifiers. I like the idea of them going into the qualifiers but maybe a beating in Munster is the way to do that. They could certainly put it up to a lot of the first round losers.
