RWC Player Profile: Kahn Fotuali'i
The second of a series documenting some players to keep an eye on during the 2011 edition of the iRB Rugby World Cup and in this one, we shall look at Samoa's half back Kahn Fotuali'i. The Hawkes Bay and Crusaders scrum half made his debut for Samoa in last November's Test win against Samoa and throughout their other fixtures in November, he quickly established himself as a vital component to Samoa's chances.
Fotuali'i might not rank up with the top scrum halves in the very basics of the position but his all round game makes up for it. With a penchant for keeping the game at a high tempo, he fits in well with the Samoan style of game but he adds something more to this side that makes them a much more dangerous prospect. His decision making and his wide range of skills, which includes a good kicking game, offer Samoa a decision maker that they have desperately been missing.

He plays for the Ospreys now, might want to edit it.
Thanks for the profile though.

Until he plays for them, it's easier to reference the teams he has most recently played for so people understand the environment he is coming from.

Typical. I'm so sick of those South Sea Islands poaching Kiwi talent.

Kahn is a good little #9.
If he adapts to life in Wales he'll be a
good signing for Ospreys.
Personally I'd have liked to have seen him as
the ABs 3rd halfback instead of Ellis.
