5 Nick Campbell *
6 Rob Harley (captain)
7 Chris Fusaro
8 Ryan Wilson
REPLACEMENTS

23 Peter Horne

Munster must start strong favourites in this one. Must be one of the youngest and least experienced sides, Glasgow has put it out in years. Obviously we are still missing our 9 players at the World Cup, but on top of that we are also missing through injury. Johnnie Beattie, Calum Forrester, Peter Murchie, Tommy Seymour, , Fergus Thomson and Jon Welsh who would all almost certainly have started on Friday night.
Obviously Munster will be missing a fair few players as well, but the gaps in strength in depth in both squads is massive.
One positive note is that we have signed a Lock from New Zealand, Rob Verbakel. Not sure if its a long term deal or a loan for the season.

Re: Glasgow v Munster
Good to see Harley back at 6, as he has been listed as a lock this season and played 5 last week. Hopefully Campbell will impress and allow Harley to remain at 6 where he played so well last season.
Gregor will know, last week was not his best game in a glasgow jersey. Good opportunity for Pyrgos to stake his claim.

Probably about right, give or take a few points.

Re: Glasgow v Munster
If Munsters discipline continues to be poor (Six yellow cards in last 2 games) then Weir could have a field day.
Re: Glasgow v Munster
On top of the players out in NZ, that's a crippling injury list! I thought that Glasgow had some decent moments against Ulster, so hopefully they can build on that on Friday evening - a good display from Weir would be welcome. Liking the sound of the new signing too

Re: Glasgow v Munster
Horan was poor against Dragons. Deserved to be dropped. we're obviously aiming to get the most out of Hayes. Isn't he only on a 3 month contract before retiring?
If we can improve discipline and scrum it should be a big improvement.

Re: Glasgow v Munster
Anybody know how long Sherry is out for? 11 to 15 looks very strong. Keatley showed some nice touches with ball in hand so we should see some action out wide.
At first glance back row looks weak but Coughlan is turning out to be a great late developer and POM has great potential. However Ronan at 7 just hasnt made that break through as an effective 7.
This is the time for Zebo to come through with WC on and show what he can do.
Glasgow away is always tough but it appears to be a weakened team so Ill just about go for Munster win.
