Re: Quiz Questions
A bit of help:
The 8 venues were paired geographically, so 2 in each of:
London
North East
North West
Midlands (using a fairly generous description of the Midlands).

Only 3 right, although you have a 4th host town/city correct but have named the new stadium, not the one from 1966...

Braveheart
5 again - you've got another but taken a correct one out. Also, my comment above to Hodge should help you identify one of the wrong uns.
Another clue - the really tricky one is the second London stadium (i.e. wasn't the Highbury Library)

Braveheart:
London - 1 of 2 (obviously Wembley)
North west - 2 of 2 (OT, Goodison)
North-east - 1.5 of 2 (Roker Park, Middlesborough - Ayresome Park as was)
Midlands (ish) - 2 of 2 (Villa and Hillsborough)

Re: Quiz Questions
So only the second London one to go - said it was a tricky one. Another clue is that it wasn't a stadium normally known for football (and no, I don't mean Selhurst Park )

Re: Quiz Questions
This came up in our pub quiz a few months ago - 5 or 6 out of 8 was what the good teams got. Only person who knew the second London stadium was my Father in law, who went to a game there.
BBC TV centre is now the main building on the site of the stadium.

Re: Quiz Questions
Maybe they were braveheart, cause thinking back now the article was about the Olympic Village of the last one and that was in the Bush, so maybe it was just the village and Wembley was the stadium

Loftus Road is close geographically, but see the other clues - not principally a football ground and no longer there
