Laptop Idea's Empty Laptop Idea's

Post by Kramxel Thu 24 Feb 2011, 12:18 pm

Hi All,

Anyone able to recommend a reaasonably prices laptop with a s-video output (red, white yellow cables)? I'm looking to use it to primarily watch films and WebTV and so on, on our large but antiquated TV. (it sits in our bedroom and we've not got an aerial or sky box attached yet)

Is it specifically S-Video that you are looking for...because Red, White and Yellow cables can also be Composite connection. Depends if the yellow (video) connection is a jack or S-Video specific output.

You can actually by adaptors rather than a new laptop!

I am not sure if most modern up to date laptops have that anymore. Can you get a USB that goes into three cables at the other end perhaps?

I would certainly go for at least an i-3 processor or AMD Dual core processor at the very least to keep up to date.

Some great deals on i3's at the moment - google link

Well it has to connect to the 3 circular colour-coded "ports" my tv has, my nintendo wii fits these perfect if that helps (sorry not a major tech-head)
