Leinster V Glasgow
First topic message reminder :
What's that you say? The teams aren't out, it's far too early in the week and we're still digesting the Dragons game?
Pah, onwards and upwards folks, history is in the past. Just like the Ospreys game (which, by the way, didn't happen)
Glasgow up next. Another home game, which is very much needed to help settle a callow side. Starting away from home did them no favours, but a very good home debut for Hagan, Carr and others will have steadied the ship somewhat.
We're still not bossing the breakdown, so while our backs fronted up last week this week we need to see the backrow show up and earn their corn.
Glasgow have had a tough start, Ulster and Munster. Away to Ulster did them no favours in the first week, Ravenhill is a very hard place to go to. I didn't see the Munster game, so maybe a Glaswegian or two can help us out there and let us know how they got on.
So what'll it be? More free flowing rugby from Leinster, or are Glasgow about to put two losses behind them. An LBP would be a good target for them, but I can't see them winning.
The beard-stroking verdict: Home win, no BP for Glasgow.

A bit confusing with the D Ryans there. In my first paragraph I was referring to Doncha, and in my 2nd Dominic,

Leinster will win this game jogging. Men vs boys.
The Glasgow pack is horribly under powered and under skilled, with only Harley really being close to international quality in his position. The Glasgow backs don't look threatening either.
Exile, it wont be easy, that much is true. But knowing Leinster, if we jog, we'll come up short. See Ospreys putting us to the sword.
After that game, Schmidt obviously shot a reality-bolt up these kids arrses. It seemed to work last week. But will they carry it into this week? Tune in... To the radio.
P.S. Here's to Scotland beating Argentina and then... England. Ye are on a winning roll. That matters.
Believe!

Gibo, I'm surprised you (a lecherous old man) hasn't been bouncing around the place bragging about the latest Leinster marketing initiative. This sure will get the punters into the RDS when the girls are performing at half time?

The Hoff is my God. This man, singularly broke down the Berlin Wall with his suaveness and sexyiness. Not to mention the voice. The hair. And the leather jacket.
Sheesh, us Continentals have to educate ye Islanders. I dunno. I just dunno.
I gotta feelin we are gonna win tomorrow.
Sing it for Ireland Hoff.

Oh man. Sin thanks for that. Schmidt rocks. But you cant have him. McGahan wouldn't know where to put his eyes. He'd have his head down. As for mumbling Deccie... He'd die.
But Joe kept his head up and smiled. He loved it. I loved it. We can afford to now. The Fields is dead. Long Live Mr. Sandman. The differ between inner-confidence and the down-headed and insecure. Superb example! The Leinster Way rolls on and on. Sniff our wake.
And yeah. Francis is a dick. 1st class dick. The camera never lies.

Meanwhile... back at RDS it's 19-16. Told you Exile. Leinster trying to jog it does not work. Its close and looks like its going down to the wire. Respect.

Thats a disaster! From having so many backrow options, we are now down to Ruddock.
With Heaslip, SOB and Jenno away, this will really hurt us in the next 10 weeks or so. Not good. We will have to dig deeper and blood more Academy options now.
I hope Ryan and McLoughlin are ok long-term.
What a mixed bag of a day. I can handle the loss, but the loss of those 2? Are Murphy and Dundon (Hooker) up to covering this? Who do we have in the locker? We may need to get experienced cover in temporarily.

Thanks Jen,
That is unfortunate for them, we are bare now though - Strauss can play backrow....... would be hard to draft in good cover at the minute.

Shows what I know! Didn't see that game but almost spat my coffee out this morning when I saw this result in the papers. Big well done to Lineen and co, sounds like the defence really held up, and that Weir may a difference in the second half.
I'm sure the Irish fans found something to console themselves with yesterday on the other hand.
