Plus Rafinha is a RB and Criscito a LB, are they not?
IMO Rafinha > Criscito in their respective positions.

Sorry thought Raf was same position, got Isla in that one then.

Re: Furious League
Put it slightly higher Viva, on the expectation that you might negotiate it down.
£7m isn't far off his apparent market value
http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/mathieu-debuchy/profil/spieler_27306.html
Happy to keep him as he provides cover in 3 positions, and is on the edge of the French squad. If I sell, I will sell for market value, but no less

I was looking around the £3m mark.
Would you be intrested in doing a swap?
Ethrington for Debuchy?

Alright Mouse
Injuries today
looks like popular consensus is to drop the squad lists for a simpler system (see below)
What's your opinion?

BigFellasAfro wrote:And with the 25 man squad limits, I have merged all the ideas together and come up with the following:OREach team has a separate page for their squad list. The squad list is submitted on a Wednesday, by 2pm for the following TWO weeks games. As IRL, U21 do not have to be listed within the squad and remain eligible to play. They are to be listed separately. You can update the squad list with new players every 2 weeks. We scrap squad lists altogether and injuries are drawn according to how many players you have in your squad.
i.e upto 25 players - 2 injuries
25-30 players - 3 injuries
30+ players - 4 injuries
And within this, we include 2 "No injury" options that could be randomly selected and if they are, you get 1 (or 2 if both selected) less injuries.
Option 1 or Option 2?
What's your opinion?

I do want Jags, but I would now need to raise some more cash as I spent mine on Hazard last night.
Same £15m I offered yesterday?

Re: Furious League
That's 5 out of 5 managers who choose option 2
I think we'll go with that.
Can you do injuries today - I'll do yours and whoever you are playing

Hi Afro sent you a message on your Fulham page, what to know what you make of it before I do anything.
Thanks From Viva

Re: Furious League
As in those constraints mentioned before are just rough.
What about for every 8 players, you get an injury?
16 = 2 injuries
24 = 3 injuries
32 = 4 injuries
etc

Re: Furious League
You decide Mouse. What I put before was based on 25 being an average squad size and up until now we have had 2 injuries per team. Therefore, my numbers were based on stopping the squads getting much bigger.
It was only rough, so whatever you decide is fine. Just let me know and I will update the Homepage

Mouse - can I check. If a team had 15 players, would that be 1 or 2 injuries?

Re: Furious League
Just to let you know I have a 25 man squad at the moment bang on, I don't think Mouse included my two keepers Dida and Caroll because I moved them thinking we were going to do the squad thing.
So in total I have 25 but Kane is U-21 so it's 24 I think.
So I should have three injuries.

Re: Furious League
Downing ouch, only Nick has worse injuries then me.
Why have some people got no injury? Whats that about?

Re: Furious League
The number in your squad that injuries are based on is the total number including U21, so you should have a squad of 25.
Not for me to rule whether you should get another injury or not as I am playing you this week.
And the "no injury" - when Mouse draws the injuries, he adds 2 x "no injuries" to the list of players and these can be drawn instead of a player. it was Nick's idea and i quite like it this week

Re: Furious League
Mouse - also just noticed Liverpool have Zapata as an injury. He is on loan to Villa, so shouldn't he be excluded in the list of players or the number to determine how many injuries?

Re: Furious League
Nick I can't watch it, what is it? Please tell me dude.
Then I have 25 players, but I don't think you can add extra ones now as my tactics are done and will post them on Friday with you.
An I think this no injury thing is poo, get rid of it from next week please. Or why don't I do lawyers next week where someone will get a £100m lawyer offer for thier worse player? Note I am not moaning just giving you tips to improve the league based on the consistency.

Re: Furious League
Can I just say Dida has retired years ago 2010 and he has been in my team for ages. I demand a compensation even though he is a free because I have to buy a new keeper. I want £3m, when can I add this Afro?
Re: Furious League
I think the no injury thing is a great idea, why should clubs get 2 injured players every week, not entirely realistic!
Re: Furious League
Viva, its called Epic Meal Time. mate at work posted it to me on our in house msn.

Re: Furious League
In real life players are out for 4 weeks or even 10 months, sometimes a club can have 8 players injured at a time. That is much more realistic, I think the current way is giving advatnages to people and the league could be deicded on luck rather then a managers ability to do deals or his tactics.
