Re: Furious League
And deals not bad in valutoo.
Vidal = Lucho - Lucho had a £15m lawyers offer, so not a bad value deal
Hazard - two players worth around £14-18m and £8m cash, so a deal worth £24-26m. Again, not a bad value deal

And Hazard NFS either
Would you have even entertained them the other way round? You seriously got the buys of the century there.
Re: Furious League
Probably not, and I agree they are good deals. But he did propose them.
It would have been rude to turn him down.

Re: Furious League
Not attacking Afro at all, he only did what was offered of him and any of us would have done the same! I'm jealous more than anything! I'm trying my damnest to get some quality in and get knocked back left right and centre.
Re: Furious League
See ya Afro.
Hero you've got Marvin Martin brilliant player. I've got Ethrington, Woodgate and Phill Neville for sale if you or anyone is intrested.

Re: Furious League
Yeah was hoping to pair up Martin with Vidal in midfield with Coutinho tucked in front, none of that happened lol.
Re: Furious League
Stoke won on pens, see ya dude I'm off but don't forget Neville, Woodgate and Ethrington are all for sale, cash or a striker or combination of both. Good English players.

Looks like he will fit in perfectly in the Furious League!
Re: Furious League
Guys I think your rating Hazard way to high on this, I got a quality midfielder and a defender which I madly needed, plus 8m. Doesn't seem a bad deal to me.

Re: Furious League
Gentlemen, we need to find a replacement Bolton manager.
Usual finders fee available: £2m up front, £1m when they submit their firstset of tactics, another £1m when they submit their second set.

Re: Furious League
And with the 25 man squad limits, I have merged all the ideas together and come up with the following:
Option 1 or Option 2?
OREach team has a separate page for their squad list. The squad list is submitted on a Wednesday, by 2pm for the following TWO weeks games. As IRL, U21 do not have to be listed within the squad and remain eligible to play. They are to be listed separately. You can update the squad list with new players every 2 weeks.
We scrap squad lists altogether and injuries are drawn according to how many players you have in your squad.
i.e upto 25 players - 2 injuries
25-30 players - 3 injuries
30+ players - 4 injuries
And within this, we include 2 "No injury" options that could be randomly selected and if they are, you get 1 (or 2 if both selected) less injuries.
Option 1 or Option 2?

Re: Furious League
I would go for option 2 as well.
Easy to monitor and manage, whilst still reducing the risk of the richer clubs diluting the injury risk by building big squads.
We could even add another level where you get 5 injuries for 35+ players

Usual finders fee available
Do I get a finders fee for Liam??
I like option 2. No extra handing in of Poopie.

Re: Furious League
Depends whether he responded to your PM or not Nick. I shall find out.
Liam - there could be a potential finders fee. Who was it that got you to come over to the Furious League and take over Villa yesterday?

Feel like I've hit a nerve with Nick.
Nothing in it Viva, but can see how it can be misconstrued and have explained what I meant. Hopefully shouldn't blow up

Re: Furious League
I'm sorry that Tranq felt aggrieved with it but like I mentioned yesterday transfers of WC players to non CL clubs can and do happen in real life.
Tevez, Eto, Ronaldinho etc
Whilst already in the league are the likes of Aguero, Torres & Mata.
To say a player of the quality of Chiellini wouldn't join when even my team has several guys who thought of as future huge names like Costa and Martin and guys like Vidal and Hazard are now at Bolton.
Seriously in real life would Vidal be at Bolton or Everton cleaning up on some of the top talent in the world when in RF they couldn't buy their own match programmes.
So to summize, big name players miove in real life, even bigger name players move in this game so for a player that's in a team not even in Europe this season is not in the wildest realms of fantasy however much he may strengthen an already quality side (though I wish he'd signed up for me when I put the same bid in two weeks earlier!!!)

Re: Furious League
I think Tranq really left after I killed him twice for transfers and when I called myself SAF and called him Kenny Dog-leash. He couldn't take it so used the T.P thing as an excuse. He knew I would constantly kill him on the transfer market and he couldn't live with that. True story.
Good luck Tranq.
Good luck Tranq.
Re: Furious League
And more importantly, we were being completely consistent with the Chiellini transfer.
But Tranq's didn't quit because he thought the deal shouldn't have gone through. he quit because he thought the reason it was allowed through was because me and Viva both were after one of Nick's defenders, and that letting him have Chiellini would further our own cause.

Re: Furious League
I should add that this wasn't the case and on the flip side, it would have been unfair on Nick to be inconsistent, just to prevent any claims of unsporting decisions.

Re: Furious League
Kameni = Smithies
Brown = Di SIlvestri
Kjaer = Vertonga
Dawson = Kaboul
Neville = Tremonilas
Farfan = Downing
Hernanes = Valbuena
Palombo = Hargreaves
Young = Guradado
Kane = Negredo
I still need two strikers, another fullback and a deep lying playmaker.

Re: Furious League
No offence Hero but those three wouldn't move to your club even if I forced them sorry.
A right back playing as a deep lying playmaker lol imagine Gary Neville threading the passes to the strikers naaah that ain't happening. An a RB playing in that role don't sit right with me. How much would you want for him Afro?

Re: Furious League
I prefer to think of him as a deep lying playmaker who can then also cover RB, rather than the other way around

Phil Neville sometimes plays like a Brazilian, so he would fit right in at Birmingham

Re: Furious League
I can see it now...
Dede collects the ball and threads it through to Willian, Willian hits a quick ball through to Jadson who spots Costa on the other wing in space, he hits a ball which Costa takes exquisitely on his chest, Costa looks up to see who to pass to... ‘Oi! To me!’ bellows Phil Neville.
The Beautiful Game at its finest!
