Sarries revise plans for new stadium
New stadium revised plans
Post consultations with local residents and various local interest groups, Sarries have submitted revised plans for heir new stadium to Barnet council, with a greater focus on transport links to and from the ground. Can't see them making it in there by January tho?

Aslongasbut100 do you mean you don't expect a verdict till January?
I am expecting a verdict in mid November.
I am pretty sure Barnet Council has to give a response within two months.
Saracens have already proceeded quite far in the process already. They do have a 99 year lease after all.

Re: Sarries revise plans for new stadium
If sarries want to play with the big boys this is what they need to do. Tigers, Tolouse and Munster have been the traditional power houses of European rugby and It's built on big crowds in their own stadium. If they can get this going then they can start building their fan base and stamp their identity down.
Creating an ethos and a culture whilst in rented accomodation is incredibly hard. Wasps are a sad example of what happens when a successful club doesn't have sustainable roots.
