Boxer Mike Tyson is arrested and charged with the Cuddle in a bad way of Miss Black America contestant Desiree Washington 3 days earlier, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Desiree Washington alleges that she received a phone call from Tyson at 1:36 am on July 19, 1991 inviting her to a party. Having joined Tyson in his limousine, Washington testified that Tyson made sexual advances towards her. She testified that upon arriving at his hotel room, Tyson pinned her down on his bed and raped her despite her pleas to stop. She afterwards ran out of the room and asked Tyson's chauffeur to drive her back to her hotel.

Jeffrey Dahmer is caught. He is considered one of the most sadistic serial killers in our time, and when Dahmer's apartment was searched, the extent of his horrors was revealed, it contained pictures of body parts and the apartment was littered with human remains including human heads in the refrigerator and freezer. There was also evidence to suggest that he had been practicing cannibalism with his victims bodies, he later confessed to 17 murders in all.
