Furious Football Association Foreign Transfer Offers: Season 1
First topic message reminder :
The Foreign Transfer Window will be open at the following times:
Pre Season - Week 2
Closed Week 3 & 4
Week 5 - Week 7
Closed Week 8 & 9
Week 10 - End of Season
Transfer Pendings will be open Monday to Friday with a cut off time of 15:00. This is to ensure we can respond to offers.
Any Offers after that time will count towards the followings days TP's.
You are allowed 2 TP's per day
Replies and Negotiations will take place on this page soon after 3pm
ALL TP's must be in the following format:
TP: (i.e. the number of the TP from you daily allowance, 1,2 or 3)
Player: (i.e. Rooney aka the best striker in the Europe)
Team: (i.e. Manchester United aka Champ19ns)
Offer: (i.e. £35M)
Reason: (i.e. reason they would join)
TPs not in the correct format or outside the window will be ignored.
You cannot make a bid unless you already have the cash to complete the deal you must have the funds already, or have guaranteed funds arriving, to be able to finance the deal. (i.e. you cannot bid and then after bidding try to raise the funds by offering your players for sale).
How your bid will be assessed.
There will be a Committee of 3/4 managers who oversee transfers.
This will be built up of one manager from each league (in order to stamp out any bias).
Transfers must be registered on a Transfer Pending page in the format above. Each member of the committee will either state if they are For or Against the transfer. For the transfer to be successful it must have the majority of committee members IN FAVOUR of the transfer.
Committee members will NOT have to state any reason to a manager as to why an offer has been accepted or rejected, just a yes or no on the pending deal. Committee members can do so if they wish.
Please remember a Transfer does not reply upon one member, so try not to shout/argue with a committee members over a transfer because for all you know they could of voted yes for you.
TPs will not be answered until after the window has closed. If a manager wishes to counter another managers offer, then he must do so the same day and before the window closes. For any enquiries after the window closes will be considered as the following days so be careful as you could end up wasting enquires. Order of the enquiries is the order they will be answered but the highest bidders offer will most likely be successful, if both bids are accepted then it will be considered from the players point of view as where they are most likely to want to play. If all enquiries are unsuccessful, then the player will stay at his current club and can be enquired about again in the following window.
Please Take Note of the following which occurs once an offer has been responded to AND accepted but not confirmed by the Buying Club:
If a figure is agreed the transfer MUST be finalised, meaning paid in full, within a resonable time (this is due to manager being online). If the funds are not available the transfer will be delayed until 5pm that day.
Up to this time any team may attempt to hijack the deal by placing an offer on the table, the committee will vote on this, once again the majority of committee members must be in favour for the deal to go through.
If the funds are raised before any other tabled bid has been received the original team will secure the player.
If no team bids and the funds are raised within the time the deal may go through.
If the funds are not raised and there are no further bids the player continues with his current club.
If another club bids and the origianal club has raised the funds before confirmation of the transfer offers will be assessed the offers but the Original bidding Club will take preferance, thus most likely to secure the transfer.
If you cannot reach an agreement with the selling club within 3 negotiations the selling club will pull out of the deal.
If your offer is accepted you have 1 hour to confirm the transfer as the player and his agent will not hang around while other clubs could be interested.
Week 9 has passed so The Foreign Transfer Window is now OPEN.

Adam D (Hobo) wrote:As both of my players got knocked back I will put in another request:
TP: 1
Player: Fernando Llorente
Team: Athletico Bilbao
Offer: 24m
Reason: I am aiming to build the team around two fast tall centre forwards and wide, fast breaking players on the wing, whipping in balls for the big men to head home. Fernando fits this bill perfectly and would get a starting birth should he move to Germany's 5th favourite city
TP: 2
Player: Albert Ortega Riera
Team:Galatasarai
Offer: 10m
Reason: need a specialist left winger to cross into the new strikers under the new formation. Albert would be ready made for the role and we could offer him first team start guaranteed whilst fit. Germany is also nicer than Turkey!
any news on these?

TP: 1
Player:Mario Goetze

Re: Furious Football Association Foreign Transfer Offers: Season 1
Adam - the two things to think about when selecting your TPs are:
1) Have they recently moved in real life (i.e within the last year). If so, then it will automatically be a no
2) Do I think that move would happen IRL? So you need to look at things like the status of the club he is leaving versus Schalke; if he is linked with bigger clubs; It's not always about the amount you offer. The example I would use is CaptainUnited's offer for Tevez. Ignoring the fact he offered a massive sum, would you be shocked to see Tevez join Everton IRL? I know I would.
The other thing worth doing is looking at previous TPs. A few players have been bid on previously and turned down, so it may be a waste of a TP to enquire for them if you are not a significantly bigger club.
Hope this helps

thats really helpful - thanks.
Hopefully my two this time will be considered as TP1 has been with his club for 9 years, he is German and I am a german club too and its a cracking offer. TP2 is pretty much the same - the only difference is that he has been at his current club for 2 years but I feel that it is long enough as his team havent done anything in that time.

like the status of the club he is leaving versus Schalke
I think these are particularly appropriate to Goetze

I understand that but it makes the game a bit pointless if I am ever going to be able to sign is poopie!
I have signed some good players, and Goetse should consider wanting to be part of a team with a squad that is improving all the time. He's not exactly at a glamour club anyway!
Re: Furious Football Association Foreign Transfer Offers: Season 1
He's at the German champions.
And the game is about improving and achieving decent league positions so that your status increases and the quality of players you can attract then increases.

Re: Furious Football Association Foreign Transfer Offers: Season 1
Fiorentina
TP1
Craig Gordon
Sunderland
£8m
Gordon has never really fully settled on Wearside and has at times found himself out of favour with the boss. We offer him the chance to come straight into our team and be our number 1.
TP2
Volkan Demirel
Fenerbahce
£8m
We are offering a chance to move from the lower standard Turkish league. He can play week in, week out against better players and really ensure that he is the first choice Turkish keeper for Euro 2012

Benfica
TP1
Marco Verratti
Fee: £5m
From: Pescara
We are giving Verratti a great opportunity to move from Serie B to a top European Club. He will easily fit in with our current squad which benefits from both youth and experience. We have great visions for our future based around young talent and Verratti fits perfectly for us.

You have a contract with Milan which they must agree to cancel. The transfer of registration can only happen during a transfer window

Re: Furious Football Association Foreign Transfer Offers: Season 1
Lyon
TP1
Davide Astori
From: Cagliari
To: Lyon
Fee: £5.5
Reason: Astori is getting to the point where he should be playing for a better team to carry on his progress as a CB. I can offer him a starting place here at Lyon where the club is pushing for european qualification. With the attributes Astori can bring to Lyon we feel he will help in our quest for European football and become one of the top CB's in the world.
Cagliari are currently midtable. An offer which is over three times what they paid for the player is very good for them.
TP2
Steven Taylor
From: Newcastle
To: Lyon
Fee: £5.5
Reason: This Geordie lad need to step up a level. I am offering Taylor a chance at first team football in a tough, competative league, one which will suit his style down to a T. His great rough tackling ability is just what Lyon are looking for and this is what would command him an instant first team place.
With these attributes we feel he will help in our quest for European football and become one of the top CB's in the world.
Sorry

Re: Furious Football Association Foreign Transfer Offers: Season 1
Douglas Costa
From: Shakhtar Donetsk
To: Lazio
Fee: £8m
Reason: I'm looking for a skillful and pacy winger to play either side and he fits the bill. I can offer him first team football and utilisation in more than one role dependant on the tactics.
Bear in mind I'm new at this, so let me know if I've made a shocking error with this bid....
