Mr Predictor
First topic message reminder :
A couple of years back on 606 I did a thread about players on the slide who I thought would win again.
My list was
Lawrie
Bojrn
Ferrie
Colesarts
Howell
I remember getting quite a load of flack especially for Ferrie, Lawrie and Bojrn.
Come on Howler give me a nap hand.
I can't think of any outstanding picks for the next couple of years.
Maybe you can.

Woods goatee is stupid but I think a fair few of the US players seem to sport some facial furniture from time to time. For me a full beard is utterly stupid, never got why anyone would want to grow one, yes I mean you Mr Glover and Mr Rock.

I'll see your Woods Goatee and raise you a ...well whatever the heck it is that Poulter sometimes sports.. you know.. that think line of hair around the jaw line - is there even a name for that?
Thats a good call bob and yes there is a name for it, the aptly named Chin Strap!

I actually find people who grow 4 inch fluffy sideburns that nearly meet at the chin to be incredibly sad, but then maybe thats just because Im jealous as I cant muster any sideburns at all.

Diggers, I'm the same, I've tried but it just doesn't work. Best I could do would be a Craig David / Jeremy Beadle type "line" beard., and frankly who'd want to look like either of them.

Re: Mr Predictor
My facial hair is an issue, if I shave in the morning by 5pm I don't have 5 o clock shadow I have more like midnight stalker beard! Was so bad in days of yore! back in my military service during training I was made to shave twice a day.
If I go more than 2 days without a shave I look a hobo, all i'd need is a brown bag with some meths in to complete the look. I had a shave yesterday morning and today popped in to see my mum & oldman Mav the first thing they both said was "when did you last shave when the titanic sunk" So I wish I had the inability to grow facial hair.
That said the worst type is the ones we seen sported like Glover where it looks like he is trying to find somewhere to store his lunch in.

Re: Mr Predictor
Must admit Im a lazy shaver, probably shave twice a week at most. However Im not hirsute like Mav so just look a bit unkempt rather than overly bearded.

Does anyone look more ridiculous with his facial hair and sundry adornments than John McCrirrick? Please keep him in England.

Re: Mr Predictor
Nothing wrong with a full beard, that's just saying "I don't see the point of wasting my life shaving". The ones that annoy me are any that go to the effort of shaving but still leave some fluff, so goatees, weird chinstrap beards, Dustin-style pointless little blobs under the lip, and so on. Only exception being 'taches, cos you have to give people credit for looking so determinedly daft with them.Diggers wrote:Woods goatee is stupid but I think a fair few of the US players seem to sport some facial furniture from time to time.
