Scotland team: C Paterson; M Evans, J Ansbro, S Lamont, S Danielli; R Jackson, M Blair; A Jacobsen, R Ford, E Murray, R Gray, A Kellock (capt), A Strokosch , J Barclay, R Vernon.
Replacements: S Lawson, A Dickinson, N Hines, R Rennie, C Cusiter, D Parks, N De Luca.
Last 10 meetings
2011 England 22 - 16 Scotland
2010 Scotland 15 - 15 England
2009 England 26 - 12 Scotland
2008 Scotland 15 - 9 England
2007 England 42 - 20 Scotland
2006 Scotland 18 - 12 England
2005 England 43 - 22 Scotland
2004 Scotland 13 - 35 England
2003 England 40 - 9 Scotland
2002 Scotland 3 - 29 England
England 7 - Scotland 2 - Draw 1
England 273 pts - Scotland 143 pts
IMO on paper the Scots might as well start packing their bags, but I have a strange feeling they might just pull it off, Chris Paterson will have plenty of shots at goal if England continue getting penalised at the breakdown and we all know what that means, he very rarely misses unless his wearing cherry and White!
Or am I being silly?

Nah I think it was a good call to take that just before half time. Keeping the scoreboard ticking over is key especially as Wilkinson is struggling with the boot. Each 3 points Scotland accumulate will worry England.
Keep her lit!

Stevens is probably a non-believer. We should be grateful he hasn't been put to death as the bible commands
Well given the missed penalties and the way we've played 6 points isn't the end of the world.

Please enlighten me as to how I, in any way, disrespected any religion. I'm merely pointing out that phsyically attacking someone is probably worse than playing a game on a sunday. Not really a big deal so relax.

This game so far as the look of the France v Tonga game. England are looking a bit shell shocked at the moment.
Lets hope the second half for England is a lot, lot better.

Scotland look far more fired up than England in that 40 minutes and deserve to be in front.
I suspect there may be a few F's and C's thrown around in the dressing room and if England don't come out with more intensity second half they do not deserve to win.
Ben Youngs needs to step up the pace. He has looked laboured and he is normally the catalyst for England playing an up tempo game.

I think Scotland are doing what Ireland did in the 6N's and are targetting him, it's clear he's getting pretty rattled as well. He needs to compose himself asap in the 2nd half.

Predictable start really. Early penalty against England that could've gone either way, opposition build on from there.
England playing way too flat, Scotland barely needing to move to get tackles in, braveheart etc

Murray is giving Stevens a torrid time at the scrum.
Scotland just aren't going to score 4 tries though if they played for a month.

Friendly? Red is the colour of anger and aggression. You should use green like the wife does for marking books (red is negative apparently)
Youngs is behaving like a silly kid at times (again). Hopefully we'll improve in the next half. Lost 4 or 5 scrums and how many lineouts? Big problems

y far the most deserving team are going through. Eng wil only get hammered if they progress anyway. awful.
One thing i hope comes out of this.. John Wells (who has given us poor forwards under three managers) finally gets fired and we get a completely new set-up.
Whatever happened to JW's boots too? Sad to see him become so poor now.

I went all the way to Eden park, lost, didn't even play the All Blacks and all I got was this lousy black t shirt

Much as I think Haskell has played well in this tournament, I think Youngs may be crying out for Easter at 8, and his clubmate Flood at 10. He looks uncomfortable at present, and that familiarity may allow him to play his more natural game. England need to stop Scotland getting to him, if we don't do that, we will lose this game.

If Youngs is uncomfortable with Haskell and Wilkinson, then a far more obvious replacement would be to get Youngs off instead of 8 and 10

Scotland have the better scrum and lineout, are dominating the breakdown and have a better place kicker. In theory this should be a straight forward game to close out for scotland.....

The last 20min will be interesting. The Argentina game may start playing on Scotlands minds, however England don't look the fittest side.

Joubert's been okay for me, the penalty stats are pretty level and he's not making any major mistakes. He's fine.
