Kidney v Gatland
As a subplot for next weeks game will we get some more entertainment from Warren in the lead up to Saturday or will he be keeping his opinions to himself....I heard a rumour that seeing as he is in NZ and this is like a try out for the ABs job he might keep quiet....
Anyhow some possible contributions and answers....
WG - "the Welsh and Irish players dont like each other"...
DK - "ah shur we love dem welsh lads dere sound out and shur isnt the world a better place with dem in it..."
....................
WG - "Irish rugby players are not as good as welsh players who are more skillful"
DK - "ah shur the sun is shining and the sheep are running through the hills and daffodils are blooming. its a great thing and sure why wouldnt it be"
.....................
WG - "I dont like the way ireland is coached"
DK - "I wake up in the morning and the sun is shining and shur we run around and have a bit of fun, because thats what its all about having fun and shur the lads are great and life is great and this is a great place to be and warren is great...its just.....great!"
...................................
I wonder which of the two is the better coach....

Brilliant, just what we need. Another thread to make fans bicker amongst each other. You know that even though you've completely made up the above dialogue, people will take it for real and start using it to hurl insults!

Griff, chill man, it's just a bit of banter.

I hope you have sources for those quotes is all I can say. Sounds borderline xenophobic if not racist to me.

Just wondering if you've checked your ears for the presence of a Libel fish*?
* Libel Fish - a mutant evolved from the Babel fish caused by modern society's need to suffer indignation. Numbers have increased alarmingly with the advent of mobile phones exposed to bar counters and subsequently not sanitised properly. The penchant for the younger generation to share earpieces on MP3 players also allows these miniscule creatures a ready means of transmission between hosts.
When placed in the auditory canal, it makes it's way to the optic nerve via the ophthamic-internal carotid. Once there it translates perfectly harmless banter into apparent vitriolic abuse and encourages the user to respond by releasing endorphins every time a negative post is made. Messages typed by the host are also mis-translated, revealing tell-tale symptons such as the use of phrases like 'I can't believe my eyes', 'Wayne Barnes is the most complete referee in the Universe', or 'the Rugby World Cup has as much chance of survival as my petunias'. Confusion can lead to paranoia and destroy not only the aqueous and vitreous humours but indeed all humour from the human body including the funny bone (which has a quite handy positive side effect as it stops hookers from certain nationalities using said bone against an opponent's throat).

I dont think the edge is there between the coaches now, certainly not like it was when EoS was coach. There was real dislike on both sides then.
As for the fans well the Irish matches Ive had have always had a great atmosphere.
Not sure about the teams though, Im sure theres still a bit of bad blood after we mugged them in Cardiff this year, with a little help from teh linesman.

I think Gatland would spank a kidney, take two livers at the same time and have a side order of black and white puddings.

I wonder who the locals will be shouting for?
Local boy's team or Team/country that disrespected the Haka?
or the Team that beat Australia?

What he says is fine, it's just the half smile and the whiny drawl.

Ever since we beat Australia we've been adopted by a lot of Kiwi's as their second team.

Surely if you're taking the p from ones own then you're talking about homophobia. After homo means the same so homophobia should be the fear things the same as yourself.

Really hammer..very interesting. You seem to be reading something into this that isnt there. Or maybe you are projecting some boyhood fears or other issues...if you have any questions I am sure there are many therapists that could help.

Er...not really. Just trying to work out what phobia would be for someone from the same place as you. Greek for same is 'homo' as in homogeneous. So fear of the same would be homophobia. Not sure what I'm reading that's not there.

Since topos is the greek root for place then a fear of someone from the same place would probably be Homotopophobia.

Re: Kidney v Gatland
Nice to see Gatland respecting the challenge and focusing on us rather than on the wind-up tactics. It's that attitude that is more likely than not to inspire a clinical, 80-min performance on Saturday. The time for mindgames is over.
