Smart Phone
Im having trouble deciding on my upgrade and want a 'smart phone' mainly so i can access V2 on my phone when i need to.
Im not clued up on smart phones and the phone shops are useless and they just try to sell you anything.
V2 people, what smart phones do you have and can recommend for me to get.
(p.s. im currently paying £35 a month on orange and dont really fancy paying any more than that)
Cheers

Re: Smart Phone
I've got the HTC HD7 windows phone on O2,it's a nice phone but does have flaws like most smart phones.
I had the Iphone before that which was better for apps but i found the internet quicker on the HTC.
Also i think you might struggle to get the Iphone on a £35 pound contract.

Re: Smart Phone
Do you make many calls. Because I'm on a pay as you go
Contract on my iPhone 3G. Basically I'm pay as you go for calls which I rarely ever make and then it's 10£ a month for unlimited texts and Internet. O2 simplicity

Re: Smart Phone
Try a Blackberry. I pay £15 a month for 200 minutes calls, (almost) unlimited text and unlimited internet
There aren't as many apps for the Blackberry as there are for iPhone but it's a great phone for email and internet

Re: Smart Phone
I got a Nokia E72 (nokias blackberry basically).
I pay £20 per month and get 600 minutes, internet access and my emails for that price - not sure on texts but I think its quite a lot.
I think its an 18 month contract. (am getting a 50% discount on the tariff)

It depends what server you wish to use. Do you plan to stick with orange?

Re: Smart Phone
I have a HTC Desire, excellent phone.
£25 a month, 600 minutes, 500 texts, unlimited internet and 1 add on, which I use for unlimited texts but you can have calls abroad etc. T-Mobile. That was 6 months or so ago, the deals may be even better now. Make sure you phone their online department, not go into store as you will get better deals.

Re: Smart Phone
I've got a Samsung Galaxy S.
Beautiful phone, £30 a month 500 mins, 500 txts, unlimited internet.
One of the nicest features though is the Swype keyboard, instead of having to tap each letter, you just 'swype' your finger over the keyboard between each letter and it types it and auto adds spaces.
