Week Six Fantasy Help
I'll start it this week.
Have an issue caused by bye weeks and injuries. Who do I play Santonio Holmes or Mike Williams, could pick up Deion Branch or James Jones from waivers, also should I consider dropping Jordy Nelson for James Jones or was week 5 just an off week for Nelson?

Don't drop Nelson, he's definitely ahead of Jones on the 'Rodgers Favourites' list.
Tough choice between the two you mention though, either could deliver or could continue underperforming. Neither have QBs with any form throwing to them but I'd take Holmes.

Re: Week Six Fantasy Help
my dilemma is
Ryan Grant or James Starks
either could have a monster against the Rams, but which is more likely..??

Was asking about a league on FleaFlicker. Should I pick Deion Branch up off waivers as neither Williams or Holmes have been particularly impressive?TM Moot wrote:Derbyblue, i take it you're in the West, as i have James Jones in the East.

Re: Week Six Fantasy Help
Personally I would choose Starks as he has 100+ yards more than Grant and 1 TD.

Re: Week Six Fantasy Help
But Grant missed a week with a bruised kidney so that would be expected. However I would still pick Starks and I think the longer that the season goes on the more he will take over and your decision will become easier. Plus as the weather gets worse through December the more the running game will be featured.

Re: Week Six Fantasy Help
In terms of the Packers pecking order...
Nelson above Jones
Starks over Grant (would be the other way if not for the recent injury for Grant).
My fantasy Question
1 RB, 2 WR and a flex out of..
Frank Gore, Daniel Thomas, Steve Smith (Car), Dez Bryant, Mike Wallace.
Boils down to which one of the above to leave out... tending to Thomas myself, but the Jets are horrible against the run and I love a good MNF player to crush the opposition!

Re: Week Six Fantasy Help
I reckon the 3 WRs are certain starters for you crazy_dave .. Would bench Thomas because the Dolphins have Moore at QB, Revis probably on Marshall so will stack the box against Thomas

Got a few for you wise people
Eli or Romo
Starks, Sproles or David Nelson
David Nelson or Felix Jones
Who is the best pick up - Doug Baldwin, Danarius Moore, Breaston or Torrey Smith?

Re: Week Six Fantasy Help
Romo - I could get a good fantasy score against the Patriots pass defence.
I'd maybe take Sproles from the second list. The Bucs have been giving up a few rushing yards this year and you get the receiving out of the backfield too.
With Jones out for Buffalo Nelson should see more targets (but this pick is influenced more by the fact that I don't rate Felix Jones at all).
I picked Moore up a couple of weeks ago but last week I gave him the start and he rewarded me with a goose egg. I'd take Breaston from that list.

C.Daves
I would leave out Steve Smith this week
Thomas , Wallace , Bryant all have good matchups & Gore can't be left out
Bambam's
1]Romo
2]Starks
3]Nelson ,partly agree with GB Jones is not an everydown back that the Boys need
4] I would probably take Baldwin

Re: Week Six Fantasy Help
Not really sure on which of the two RB's.
Torain and Thomas.
Tough choice but only because they all look good, I would say Austin against the Pats should start, but not really sure which other WR to start (I would probably choose Johnson), I would probably choose Thomas as the flex he should have a big day.

Re: Week Six Fantasy Help
I need Brain Hartline to pick up seven points more than the New York Jets' defence to keep my last unbeat team going.
The other team really should have been out of sight by now but a few Bears players managed to get me within touching distance.
