Week 2 fantasy help!
So, I have to start two RBs, two WRs and a flex from MJD, Jamaal Charles, Ridley, Miles Austin, Malcolm Floyd, Decker, Britt and Alfred Morris.
Conundrum...[list][*]

Re: Week 2 fantasy help!
Fair enough. Well, if it was me, I like the matchup of Jamaal Charles against a Buffalo defense that was not very good at all last week, I'm not sure what Kenny Britt's health status is but if he's healthy I like him against the Chargers corners with Quinten Jammer having a broken hand. Personally, I'd probably go Ridley Floyd and MJD for the other three slots but that's more an instinct thing than me being able to give you specifics as to why I'd pick those three.
Re: Week 2 fantasy help!
Charles , MJD , Ridley , Floyd & Dekker would be my picks
Not sure Britt will be up to speed yet although he's a good player
Austin has lost some of his value with Bryant & now Ogletree getting a lot of the work load
As stated only start a skins RB if he's the only option
PS what is Fabtasy

Edited :-)
Apparently Britt is going to see limited snaps this week.
I'd say cobb over little but I couldn't call the first one, they both stink.

Re: Week 2 fantasy help!
They do both stink, but Benson is gonna get pretty much all of the carries (all 12 of them), whereas Ingram is firmly no. 3 in the RB rotation at best
Re: Week 2 fantasy help!
I've got a few for different teams
Ed Dickson @ Eagles or Martellus vs Buccs
Flex: McCluster @ Bills, Hixon vs Buccs or Hawkins vs Browns
Alex Smith vs Lions or Luck vs Vikings
Coby Fleener vs Lions or Lance Kendricks vs Redskins
RG3 @ Rams or Big Ben vs Jets

Flex: McCluster @ Bills, Hixon vs Buccs or Hawkins vs Browns

Re: Week 2 fantasy help!
Pr4wn my choice would be MJD, Charles, Ridley, Floyd, Decker.
Moot I would go for both the Packers.
My issues:
1 RB (behind Foster, thinking Brinkley): Curtis Brinkley, Knowshon Moreno, LeGarrette Blount?
2 WR's, 1 WR/TE (Thinking Meachem, Welker, Ogletree): Maclin, Welker, Ogletree, Meachem, Blackmon, Wright, Olsen
1 RB 2 WR 1 RB/WR: Chris Johnson, McFadden, Spiller, Bush, Julio Jones, White, Garcon, Austin, Bowe.
1 WR 3 Flex: Doug Martin, Rob Gronkowski, Gates, White, Brown, Torrey Smith, Lloyd.

Mockingjay
IMO
Martellus
Hawkins
probably Smith
Kendricks
RG3 after last week you've got to got to take the risk
Derbyblue
probably Moreno
Def Welker then Meachem & Maclin , can't see Ogletree getting same amount of ball [Ogletree then if Maclin is out]
DMC & Julio for certain then Garcon , probably Spiller
Gronk , Martin , Brown & Lloyd

Re: Week 2 fantasy help!
Bit of a quandary here
Need to start 2 RBs and a flex, from Forte, Martin, Spiller, Morris and Aaron Hernandez. Morris is probably going to sit, so my real question is whether I should start Hernandez as my flex guy over any of the 3 RBs. I can't start him at TE because Jimmy Graham is never leaving the starting line up there

Anymore help with this one?Derbyblue wrote:1 RB (behind Foster, thinking Brinkley): Curtis Brinkley, Knowshon Moreno, LeGarrette Blount?
Anyone think I should cut Brent Celek for Dennis Pitta/Marcedes Lewis/Heath Miller/Martellus Bennett?

Celek isn't healthy, and even when he is Vick doesn't use him.

Re: Week 2 fantasy help!
Seems all of those options are better than celek at the moment.
Blount might get more playing time this week. Moreno will hardly play. I don't really know much about Brinkley...

I would cut Celek for Pitta, at least Pitta has shown something.
Probably going for Moreno. Mcgahee fumbled last week, and Moreno got a goal line TD. Can't see a work load for any of them though

Re: Week 2 fantasy help!
I liked Celek in preseason but that was with Nick Foles as QB I don't know if Pitta will have a similar week this week and Lewis & the Jags are up against the Texans so Heath Miller maybe the safest option.Derbyblue wrote:Anymore help with this one?Derbyblue wrote:1 RB (behind Foster, thinking Brinkley): Curtis Brinkley, Knowshon Moreno, LeGarrette Blount?

Re: Week 2 fantasy help!
McCluster did ok last week and if the Bills play as poorly as they did he may see plenty of the ball. Alex Smith would be the safe option over Luck, Fleener is up against the Vikings who let Jags TE Lewis do well last week. RG3 against the Rams is a no-brainer at the moment.MockingJay33 wrote:I've got a few for different teams

1 From:
Chris Johnson @SD
L Fitzgerald @NE
M Lynch DAL
K Smith @SF (not keen on this...who is)
K Britt @SD
K Ogletree @SEA
M Turner DEN
It's basically between the 1st 3. Im starting Green-Ellis...but could swap him for another one..

I would probably take Fitzgerald simply because he always puts up pretty good numbers, if Britt's fully healthy I'd be tempted as SD have issues at CB with Jammer injured.

Re: Week 2 fantasy help!
Start Chris Johnson or Larry... don't overthink things.
In fact, quite how you have anyone of either Fitz, CJ2K, or Lynch as "on the edge" players is a massive sign of overthinking. They should be week in week out starts unless the matchup is horrendous and they haven't been performing for multiple weeks.
Were one week in, none of the above did fantastic last week, but New England have a poor pass defence and San Diego gave up plenty of yards to DMC last week.

For a flex should I use Mike Wallace, Jon Stewart, Willis mcgahee or Reggie Wayne?

I'd fancy Wayne against the Vikings at home. Luck's first home game, I reckon a big game for Wayne

Wayne is reliable, Wallace is a gamble given no Revis.

Re: Week 2 fantasy help!
I'm taking a Colts win and figure Wayne should have a nice day.
I'm playing him in the league where i have him.
Mike Wallace is still quite interesting simply because Revis is out. Who are your other wideouts that are penciled in?

Aj Green against Cleveland and Vincent Jackson against giants. All should enjoy themselves today.

Yeah I would go with Wayne too. Antonio Brown looks like Big Ben's favourite target at the moment, and Luck only really has Wayne to throw to on the outside

Nice dilemma to have... i'm forcing myself to play Issac Redman over Ronnie Brown!
I'd rate Wayne over VJ this week at WR2, but would still keep VJ in the lineup at Flex

I wouldn't have said it was a bad move 3 hours ago. You have to start Run DMC. Not sure if you could have snuck Bush in somewhere, but choosing McFadden wasn't the error

Re: Week 2 fantasy help!
Could only start 2 RBs at most as one was with a RB/WR flex and couldn't sit Spiller after I picked him up off waivers, hopefully CJ2k doesn't have a big week or I'll regret chosing McFadden over him.

Re: Week 2 fantasy help!
3-0 this week even if I did leave 69 points on one of my benches! Made the mistake of benching White for Bowe in one league but forgetting to do it in the other league. Well unless Julio Jones and Roddy White manage to lose me 13 points.
