Week 8 Fantasy Help
My issues this week:
Who do I start a "game time decision" Andre Johnson or Brandon Gibson, I know this normally isn't a tough choice but I don't want to lose because Johnson didn't start and Gibson could have won it for me.
Do I trust that Antonio Gates is back to normal?

I'm in the same position with regards to Andre Johnson, if he plays he'll be in my team. You can't leave him out. It'll just be a case of watching the active/inactive list on gameday and leaving it nice and late.

Just eliminated that worry from my team, good luck watching the injury report on Sunday.

Gate is getting back to normal and is worth sticking with, as noted Johnson maybe a game day decision but check Texans news today if he trains today then its a good chance he will play Sunday.

Re: Week 8 Fantasy Help
Wait until the last minute if Johnson plays pick him
Gates will do ok for the rest of the season
A couple of mine
2 WR & 1 Flex from Austin/S.Johnson/Cruz / Torain/D.Thomas
2 RB from Mendenhall/Torain/D.Thomas

Re: Week 8 Fantasy Help
I would suggest All Terrain would be a good choice as there's only he and Helu available to play and the Bills D isn't shutting down anyone's run game.

But Mike Shanahan hates your fantasy team... whoever "starts" gets no carries

Apparently Andre Johnson is going to miss this weeks game. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/10/28/andre-johnson-will-miss-another-game/

Even more pleased I traded him away now, especially considering the Texans bye week is still to come.

Slight change from the earlier question a "game-time decision" Beanie Wells or Brandon Gibson?

Re: Week 8 Fantasy Help
In an NFL managed league currently 6-1 lost my first game last week
DeSean Jackson DAL, Torrey Smith ARI, Lance Moore @STL, Robert Meachem @STL, Vincent Jackson @KC? Stupidly Overloaded at WR What 3 do i start this week and what ones should i consider trading/dropping?
And Rob Gronkowski @PIT or Jimmy Graham @STL for TE.
Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: Week 8 Fantasy Help
Start the Jacksons and Smith vs the woeful Cards secondary. Moore and Meachem are 4th and 5th options now for Brees behind Colston, Graham and Sproles so I would cut/trade them for anyone I could get.
Graham is the number one TE so start him! Gronkowski could get you some decent trade offers too, then pick up a competent guy off waivers for Graham's bye week

Re: Week 8 Fantasy Help
depends who your 2nd guy is i guess, you might be able to ship him in a trade, if hes a really low end number 2 that no one would want cut him and pick up a lottery ticket from the waiverscherriesfan wrote:is it worth having 2 QBs now i have brady back?

if beanie goes youve got to go with him but from what i heard out of espn thats unlikely, as for brandon gibson im pretty sure that you can find better than him on the waivers, i liked gibson as a preseason sleeper but now lloyd been traded and alexander has stepped up hes pretty much unownable in all but the deepest of leauges

Re: Week 8 Fantasy Help
Well I was too late back to remove Beanie Wells from my starting line up so hopefully he'll do well, it's a pretty deep league which is the only reason I still have Gibson.
