Shane Williams has left the building, what a player what a legend its been a privilege to watch you play so many times, and you prove the point that you don’t have to be built like a brick s house to play the great game.

Hersh, a bit premature, hasn't he said he'll make himself available for Wales vs Australia at the Millenium in Dec? But agree with your sentiment

You are quite correct As, and that will be a great send off for him.

He could be injuried by then or not selected, we may have just witnessed the last time he wears the red shirt.

A well-taken try off a very blatant forward pass today. Good footballing skills by the little chap.
I think he deserves a 9/10 for his somersault in the first half on the touchline. He was a like a bowling pin flying through the air!

is it not a little self indulgent to make himself available for the game in December? Wales should move on and try to bed in the new back three they'll be relying on for the next 4 years, then again maybe Gatland won't pick him anyway.

Purely froma team building for the future point of cview it would be very wrong to give him a farewell cap for teh sake of it in that game.
But from his point of view, for the fans, and for the WRUs gate receipts having what amounts to a benefit match for him makes sense. And lets not kid ourselves, that fixture is only in the calender to help pay for new tracksuits and George Norths vet bills.
Who knows, maybe even MWiliiams with get his 100,000th cap then too.
Should bow out infront of his home fans. Legend.

You don't think that the somersault was the result of a no-arms tackle? It looked that way to me. But I've only seen the incident once. I'd need to take a look at it again. It certainly seemed as much deserving of a yellow card as SBW's no-arm effort against Quade Cooper.
