Week 1 Fantasy Help

Ok, chaps, assistance needed.

I need a flex player from the following:

Greg Little, CLE v PHI
Alex Green, GB v SF
Mark Ingram, NO v WAS
Michael Floyd, ARI v SEA
Ruben Randle, NYG v DAL
Lance Kendricks, STL @ DET

Was thinking Little, but happy to be persauded otherwise...

Week 1 is always a bit of a lottery
I would go with Floyd , Little would be my 2nd choice
but up to you

Yeah I would go with Little out of those.

I need help with my flex position:

Torrey Smith v CIN
Nate Washington v NE
Donald Brown @ CHI

I'd go for Nate. NE's secondary is poor and Britt isn't playing so he will be targeted plenty

Thomas is up against Pittsburg and who knows what Manning will be like, plus Turner is still (at this stage of the season) a feature back and they will score against KC a few times.

Of course i'm steering well clear of my two leagues here, but in my other two leagues (10 Teams) its fair game to ask! I have the following choice in one league

Team 1
Rather bizarrely I have bunch of "pairs" in this team. The Green Bay WRs, the Jacksonville RBs, the Carolina RBs and the Eagles specialists.

Anyway my 2nd RB (Arian Foster) is a battle between the following:
- Shonn Greene vs BUF (current selection)
- MJD / Rashard Jennings @ MIN
- Jonathon Stewart / DeAngelo Williams @ TB
This is assuming Dez Bryant in the flex slot.

Normally this would be an easy MJD selection, but his holdout hurts him and Jennings who i'm not sure I can trust in an RB2 slot.

There's a bit of speculation that Stewart might miss the game this week, if he does then Williams is the best option. If not I would probably go with Shonn Greene too

1. Flex from Brandon Lloyd, Peyton Hillis or Donald Brown - leaning Lloyd
2. Flex from Aaron Hernandez, CJ Spiller or Titus Young - leaning Hernandez
3. Flex from Doug Martin, Ben Tate or Pierre Garçon - leaning Martin

I'd agree with all 3. Have a funny feeling Young will outshine hernandez but that's risky

I have a flex dilemma. I need to choose one from Malcolm Floyd who always teats it up against Oakland, nate Washington who doesn't have Kenny Britt to contend with, stevan Ridley who will start or Mark Ingram.

Help!

I always like to have a running back at flex if possible, so I would say Ridley. The Titans aren't the greatest against the run, and I can see the Pats getting ahead early then spending a lot of the 2nd half running. He could get a couple of goal line carries too

Re Crazy Dave's dilemma above - I had DeAngelo Williams in my team last year and he was guff. Truly, truly stinking! I ended up dumping him in about week 6 or thereabouts. I'd steer well clear of him simply on that basis. Cam is the focus of that offense now so I don't see the Carolina RBs being much more than bit part players again this year.

I'm sure Jax have said that MJD will be the 3rd down back this weekend. I also think they'll be looking to get Gabbert and Blackmon going early which might limit Jennings. All in all, I think I'd stick with Shonn Greene and hope for the best against a strong Buffalo front 7.

Yeah, I wouldn't disagree with that niner.... but can you take that chance??? To be fair, maybe Dave can because the other options aren't great. Greene should get a lot of carries but it could be tough going for him against Buffalo.

It probably depends on how the game is going. If the Jags are winning they may want to keep MJD waiting.

I would go with one of the RBs this week and keep Lloyd to a watching brief. Not sure how much of the ball will come his way.

I'm starting Rashard Jennings in one of my teams. He's vastly underrated and should do well this week.

Yup, he has a good chance of doing some damage today .. that is unless they decide Tolbert is worth a lot of carries
