International roolz
First topic message reminder :
Kinda live scores. I am not at work today.
I am gonna watch the start, then i am going out for a bit before watching the rest of it.
Whatever about Cluxton not talking to the media, he just gave his chat to the huddle in the middle of the field and he had them all ready for battle. a few eyes bulging.
The Aussies start the brighter but the Irish strike first through a young lad called Tommy something or other.....never heard of him.

Time to knock this on the head. Thozzies can't behave if they are getting hosed.
Great to get the victory and the players seem to love it but the pattern is clear. They batter us and they get the victory. They play ball and we hammer them. we don't need it.
No speech from Cluxton. McKeever gave it instead. It adds to the enigmatic nature of the man.

I missed this altogether, I didn't even know it was on due to being extremly busy and caught up in different things . It would appear to me that the Ozzies are only up for it when its in Ireland as in the best players play in Ireland and play at their best. I think the rules need to be looked at too, they are fairly stacked against the Ozzies which has kept it competive up til now but we are more able now to stand up to the tackle then ever before and are begining to just avoid it altogether.
Well done to the lads though

Watched a wee bit of the first one but haven't bothered this time. Last game had hardly anyone there and the aussies don't take it seriously enough it seems unless its on Irish soil. Last game was the first time I'd watched at least a bit of int rules that wasn't highights on youtube and was urine poor. Sure the players might enjoy a wee holiday but its pro's against amateurs and the rules aren't great either (oval ball would change it completely). Don't know if anyone can shed light onto wether or not that was a decent oz side but what do the GAA get out of this exactly? Players would be better off spending time at their clubs, if we are to have a big series like this then promote the Railway cup into the forefront again. Either that or have the Eire squad take up cage fighting if the aussies decide to get dirty. Oughta give this Poopie the middle finger.

A bit like what Ireland do in the shinty-hurling thingy then. At least that's two amateur sports of undisputed relation where community ties can be built. With Australia Ireland get Oz not taking it series at home and then away the extent of community relations building is brendan fevola and the Kumquat Nixon. Or mabye the Australians lost a bit of interest in it after the cancellation of the 07 series.

I was saying the exact same thing to Ciaran Sheehan, Donncha O'Connor, Colm O'Nell, Colm Cooper, Darran & Declan O'Sullivan, Baaaaaaarnard, Diarmuid Connolly etc etc etc
