Responded, CF.
We should be, but apparently didn't play too badly. My boss is a Bristol City fan so I've been getting a few jibes this morning.

Have a nosey about the minor leagues for someone that's banging them in and could step up to a bigger club, Dutch league, Portuguese league, Brazilian etc

Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Season 1, Page 5
my team is looking good, and im quietly confident of winning games with this squad, i am now strong in pretty much all areas
Guest- Guest
Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Season 1, Page 5
You are much better now.
I think you are now just need a faster CB as you lack pace there now and a strong ball winner in midfield as you could get overpowered there
If I was playing you, those would be the two areas I would look to exploit

i could do with one as well, but not gonna look for one, if i see one that immediatly i want, i might enquire, but might have to go with pepe, and maxi on the wings.

Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Season 1, Page 5
Lugano and Cris - that's what I mean. Good in the air, strong and authorative, but neither has pace, whilst Felipe is not quick either.
That would be where I would target if I was playing you.

I agree. You have shown massive improvement over the last week and you should be pleased. I was just saying that is where I would look to work on next, when you can afford to

Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Season 1, Page 5
everton v roma
roma strong all over the pitch
I felt Everton's FB's were weak and couldn't cope with the Roma wingers, whilst I didn't feel Everton made good use of their players. Fellaini sitting back is fine, but to have that allow Neville to get forward more is madness. And to make a 6' 4.5" player with great heading ability sit on the halfway line for corners is just odd. Everton's tactics nullified a lot of their own strengths.
both sides strong going forward, but lacking in defence
Close game, both set up with similar formations but feel Roma have more up front to trouble the Everton defence
Close game with matching set up, Roma stronger team but home form gave Everton the momentum to push for a draw.
Although Everton look very strong going forward with the likes of Van der Vaart I just have a feeling that Roma will sneak one on the break giving the goal to Osvaldo.
Roma too strong for Everton and Defoe unable to spearhead attacks alone. Roma will dominate midfield but be susceptible to VDV on left wing vs defensively weak Johnson.
Both team played very well and where able to break each other defence
arsenal v valencia
Valencia's tactics were better, although there is still plenty of room for improvement. They didn't really deal with the pace of the Arsenal attack and had no specific plans to nullify a technically superior team.
tight game with arsneal grabbing a winner in the 90th minute
Better tactics from Valencia but Arsenal have the better side. Went for a draw
Much improved from Valencia this week with a much more solid look to the side.
I think the Valencia back line looks a little shaky and with Totti and Belluschi two players who are more suited to central play I expect Mathieu and Sagna to run riot down the wings backing up Hazard and Gervinho
Arsenal have a more rounded team and Wilshere/Banega will keep midfield ticking over before the quality in the front line tells.
Very good games both sides had chances but Arsenal snatched it in the end
psg v schalke
no Schalke manager, so no tactics and no option but to go for the default win

Lazio 2-2 Malaga
Cazorla, Oxlade-Chamberlin; Klose 2
Cazorla, Oxlade-Chamberlin; Klose 2
Malaga just edge with a solid midfield and some very good forward play
cant see past a draw for this game as both managers need time to get used to there team therefore Iam voting for a 1-1 draw
Lazio win their wide men provide more cover than malagas and this is difference
Both teams well set up and a decent game, the quality of the Malaga team though won it
Very good defensive performance by Lazio, they contained the the Malaga attack very well, Lazio had majority possesion of the ball but were not sharp enough upfront to penetrate Malaga.
