The minimum number of points that can be played for a complete a set of tennis, under ATP Rules, is 19.

How do you score a 60 in less than 24points?

What's the trick? Or do they simply consider an unfinished set with 19points as a set?

Play 3 points, 40-0, losing player swears at umpire, loses a point. 1-0. Swears again, loses a game. 2-0. Play out the rest of the set, 4 points per game. 19 points played.

Ah..good one but Can't it actually get even shorter?

Takes over 20s...gets warned, takes over 20s again, get a point penality, takes over 20s....game set and match....in a dream world of course! Wink

All that in 3 points or so.

Ah, but that's not a complete set. You could get defaulted after 1 point if you really Tarango'ed the umpire!

Do you know that I know the line judge who tarangoed Tarango? He is in my club and I play tennis with him on a weekly basis (almost).

And I only found out about him when I lost my temper while he was referring my Double's final. I was mad at him and later learnt that he was the famous "tarango line referee".

Did you get a code violation like Tarango and default the match? Erm

Tarango is just running his mouth with wild accusations in this clip.

This is cool, bit like the maximum break at snooker isn't 147, it's 155. I did hear someone make a claim for 162 but I don't agree with that.
