The Tree of the WWE - Page 3 Empty The Tree of the WWE

Post by TwisT Wed 09 Nov 2011, 8:25 pm

First topic message reminder :

This is a group opinion on how the wwe views its roster (I have not included the Diva's), at the moment, in terms of importance to the company. It is based upon the following criteria:

Level 1 - Vital to the company and PPV headliners with proven drawing ability
Level 2 - Important to the top story lines but cannot main event successfully without it being alongside a Level 1 competitor
Level 3 - Strong upper card / mid carder with regular and logical TV time - appear at all / nearly all PPV's
Level 4 - Solid mid carder with regular TV time and story lines - appear at most PPV's
Level 5 - Mid carders who appear on TV most weeks - occasional PPV appearances
Level 6 - Superstars / lower card talent who may be put into story lines as enhancement talent - get their annual run at the Rumble
Level 7 - Superstars / lower card talent with no obvious story line at present, any TV time will be as a jobber

New additions to roster will automatically go on Level 7 until the next tree alteration.

Based upon current standings, the tree looks like this: (NB:Italics shows inactivity at present).

Level 1: --- HHH --- Cena --- Undertaker --- Punk --- Rock --- Lesner ---

Level 2: --- Sheamus(+1) --- Jericho --- Bryan(+3) --- Orton(-1) --- Big Show

Level 3: --- Barrett(+2) --- Del Rio(-1) --- Kane(+1) --- Rhodes --- Ziggler --- Miz(-1) --- Ryback(+2)

Level 4: --- Mysterio(-1) --- Christian(-1) --- R Truth(-1) --- Kingston(+1) --- Otunga (+1) --- Clay(+2) --- Santino (+2) --- Lord Tensai (-1) --- Cesaro --- Henry(-2)

Level 5: --- Bourne --- Sin Cara --- McIntyre (+1) --- Great Khali --- Slater(+2) --- Epico(+2) --- Primo(+2) --- Swagger(-1) --- Sandow --- Mahal(+2) --- Ryder (-1)

Level 6: --- Jackson --- Ryan(-1) --- Hunico(+1) ---Gabriel (+1) --- Kidd(+1) ---

Level 7: --- Tatsu --- Riley(-1) --- Camacho --- DiBiase(-1) --- Rest of the Roster ---

Future Endeavoured/Taken out of active roster:
John Morrison (highest ranking was Level 5)
Kevin Nash (still under contract, however no plans to return. Highest rank was Level 2)
Booker T (back to commentary duties)
Tyler Reks (highest ranking was Level 7)

Please feel free to comment on standings within the tree. More than 3 votes constitutes a change in standing.

I will be updating the tree based on comments after each PPV. The tree will be based upon the time leading to that PPV in question, and the PPV results itself. Therefore, you can comment on standings at anytime and the opinions will be counted after that PPV and any changes made will be done a few days after.

Next Edit will be after: Next PPV

Ryback might be a mover - up one
Though he's not really has a "storyline". Unless the relentless crushing of jobbers is a storyline.

Maybe he's imminent.

Evan Bourne and Drew Mac down one?

Hmm. I can't even work out who should be considered roster or not nowadays. I'll re-start and post my thoughts later this week.

Show up to level 2 maybe even level 1 given his current storyline, Kane up to level 2.

Ryback up one level

McGuillicutty added to level 7, Prime Time Playas added to level 5.

Christian up one level

I propose putting Cena into a new level, above Level 1, namely "God Level". The definition of this will be "Will main event every single PPV, no matter how badly they perform, how crap their opponent, or other strength of the card"

Think Miz level 3.

Del Rio and Big Show as much as I hate it are surely level 2 by now, constantly in title picture and main events or Raw and Smackdown but only ever with top names.. Match the definition given perfectly.

Tree Updated.

There are only 2 more months left, before the TofE celebrates one whole year of movers and shakers. I will take in all the results over the past year and give a proper breakdown.

Afterwards, a new concept will be made that should be easier to comment on.

I can't really disagree with any to be fair although Sandow could be up to level 4 pissibly 3 but that's down to personal opinion

Its a shame that 4 of the top 6 are inactive but doesn't detract from the fact you're spot on

Cheers OK

Royal Rumble will be the current tree's last PPV. As traditional, I don't think there will be many movers and shakers until post Rumble. So I will take it from that point, post the results, and come up with something fresh. Then run it WM to WM.
