Ridiculous analysis screen on Sky
I mean, why?
I can't work out what's more absurd: the screen thing or the effort to turn Barry Cowan into Andy Gray.

Re: Ridiculous analysis screen on Sky
Hah, hah indeed.
Obviously once Gary Neville's finished his footie analysis they ship it off elsewhere. I must admit I looked at Petchey's earlier analysis and thought maybe it had wandered into the studio by mistake but, no, good old Sky and their constant over analysis using Barry "interesting" Cowan as well, no less.
Actually if I had to decide which analysis was less riveting between Barry Cowan and a certain Garry Barlow on X Factor I'd hav eto say it was to close to call.
Please Sky stick to the tennis for heaven's sake, otherwise it'll no doubt be Greg Rusedski and his cheesy grin doing a Bruce Forsyth next (The mere thought of that is enough to put me off any further Sky coverage for the time being).

Couldn't agree more! I scoffed out loud when I saw it, truly ludicrous. They'll probably have a countdown already for Federer-Nadal on a giant clock, and be calling it Tantalisingly Terrific Tuesday. The Americanisation of our sports coverage continues apace.

I didn't see it - what did it look like? I'm intrigued now!

Agree, made Cowan look like a right nerdy chump. Next thing we'll have a "player cam" next to the net so we can watch one player from the front for 15 mins...great.

I thought petchers did well until it was all about Murray and featured nothing on Ferrer!

Oh God he's up again doing what we could just have easily had in the normal way, without the levers and pulleys.
How infantile do they think the audience are? No, don't answer that......
EDit to add: Barry needs a lecturn to stand behind, this is potentially career ending for him if he's going to carry on standing like that.
