Re: Week 12 Discussion
Must have been an accident then, was just Skins commented on you misspelling field goal, so thought there was a chance you had done that on purpose. Back to your original question I would imagine that it has happened before at some point in the past, though I don't see many field goals getting blocked.cherriesfan wrote:Derbyblue wrote:Was that done as a joke or by accident?cherriesfan wrote:didnt he block and ewtra point as well,
Anyone staying up to watch the game tonight?

Re: Week 12 Discussion
the fact remains as his 4 field goal blocks have been two a game and we lost both of them.
best field goal block has to be hawks @ boys.
a cowboy leaped over our centre and blocked it!!!
i was in disbelief

Re: Week 12 Discussion
There was no chat box yesterday so that might explain it. Plus thanksgiving games on at reasonable times and with little other sport on.

Re: Week 12 Discussion
Why are the New Orleans Saints so hit and miss?
The looked pretty good last night, as they did against the Colts a few weeks back, but then other weeks have really struggled.
On another note, I was trailing in one fantasy league game by two points with Victor Cruz to go. He got 27.70 points. The unfortunate thing though was the other team had one player to go too... Drew Brees.

Wow, 24-49. From the highlights the Saints looked like they had some big plays on both sides of the balll. The drive for the touchdown just before the end of the 2nd quarter is great 6 plays 88 yards and just 34 seconds taken off the clock, very impressive! Saints seem to have a very talented offense, with great RBs, pretty good WRs and what many would class as an elite QB.

Re: Week 12 Discussion
Yeah Brees is definitely an elite QB, his accuracy is amazing at times and Sean Peyton is a brilliant playcaller. Reckon a Packers-Saints rematch in the playoffs could be pretty interesting, their week 1 matchup went down to the final play I think, and the Saints look a lot more in sync now with Graham and Sproles being a much bigger part of their offence

Re: Week 12 Discussion
Texans have just signed Jake Delhomme.
I've always felt sorry for him, he was an awesome QB 10 years ago single handedly taking it to the Pats in the superbowl (2004?).
Ridiculed in recent years for being a pick machine but that happens when your play in bad teams with limited weapons, you know what I actually think if he gets a shot in the team with the likes of Johnson fit again and a serious running game to fall on, I think he's do surporisingly well.
Good business from Texans for me....

Good Move as you say Grizz.
Definately better than signing Jeff Garcia, if only because Delhomme has suited up more recently. Doesn't have to be a hero, just a manager... their defense, running game and current position as the number one seed in the AFC will take them to the playoffs
