I liked Kenny, that's a big shame if he isn't doing boxing anymore. Another with boundless enthusiasm and his jousts with Mayweather which can be seen on YouTube are stuff of legend.
Re: Memo to Steve Bunce - 6 ways to improve your show!!
Really keV? That's a shame, he even mentioned a comment of mine on there once haha.
Disappointing.

Re: Memo to Steve Bunce - 6 ways to improve your show!!

Would be strange for it to be a BBC choice, it's their most downloaded show.

That's the man. I know it's only an hour long as well. It may be because of boxnation because he can't do the 5live fights any more.

I don't think it will what casual fan would fork out £60 for a six month subscription to a boxing channel they may never watch again?
£15 for one night is one thing but a six month contract is another.

Did anyone notice that last night on Bunces Boxing hour - when Bob Arum was on the phone...the screen showed a picture of Vegas with Bob's name at the top and then underneath his name it said "See Me In Me Heels and Ting".
WTF??

After a brief stint on google - i think it's something to do with Top Ranks opening music of something.
No idea why it was there last night though! Made me chuckle!

I much prefer Bunce's boxing hour to Ringside; I'd rather Bunce's over-enthusiasm than Johnny Nelson struggling to read off the auto-cue and Adam Smith just blowing his own trumpet on how good Sky boxing is

Adam Smith creeps me out, I'd leave my kids with Gary Glitter over him.

It's when his over-enthusiasm veers into inane nonsense I can't stand, which unfortunately fills the entire hour.

Find him hilarious at times when he starts talking about one thing and 5 minutes later still talking but ending up talking about some fight in the 60s completely off the original subject.

Re: Memo to Steve Bunce - 6 ways to improve your show!!
What I don't get about Sky is their pundits. Watts alright but his scoring of fights is sometimes baffling. McCrory is difficult to understand but doesn't seem to have anything interesting to say any way and Johnny Nelsonn is ... well he's Johnny Nelson!
I wish they would give Richie Woodhall and Jamie Moore a bit more TV time and getting Spencer Fearon back in wouldn't be a bad idea. If Bob Meed wasn't so ugly he would be a perfect host for ringside but unfortunately he scares children he looks like an evil Hunch back of Notre Damme.
Tris Dixon is another good guest they have on from time to time but they always revert back to the same old guys time and time again.
Oh and then there's Barry 'no one else is getting a word in' McGuigan who is truly awful.

Folk will shell out for New year Gym membership and then stop going the 2nd week in January!

Yeah Barry does get a bit excited. I hate Duke McKenzie the most - has a personality like a plank of wood.

New years resolutions mate they are funny things. Designed for fat people who feel guilty for eating a years supply of food in a week!
Do you think casual fans who want to watch the Haye vs Vitali fight will subscribe to a channel they might never watch again for 6 months to the tune of £60? I very much doubt it.

Re: Memo to Steve Bunce - 6 ways to improve your show!!
you know it's funny but buncey has grown on me. Could never stand him. Would groan with annoyance when he appeared on five lives fighting talk too. But after listening to his boxing hour a fair bit i can now put up with him as a kind of amusing, harmless, over enthusiastic big kid!!! Plus it's funny him itching to cut in when people are talking on shows! Gets proper restless and ends up so high pitched!!
