Hello All,
Many of you may not know me but I am currently at the top of the UCPL Championship (I know, I'm great) and I'm also a long time reader/ infrequent poster on this forum. However, with the year 2011 drawing to a close, I thought it was time to conduct our year-end awards as follows for the boxing community:
P4P Number 1 poster of the Year:
WUM of the Year:
Thread of the Year:
Funniest thread of the Year:
606v2 Lifetime award:
Disclaimer: the above can be tongue in cheek, but please do not let this descend into complete chaos.

P4P Number 1 poster of the Year: Alex Huckerby..dont always agree with him, but he helps keep a lot of threads alive with his constant posting
WUM of the Year: Azania..like talking to a brick wall at times. honourable mentions to coxy, who continues to debate against D4s opinions long after hes left and Trussman who sometimes looks to start arguements instead of debate
Thread of the Year: Union's Prediction League, something for everyone to join in
Funniest thread of the Year: Boxing limericks
606v2 Lifetime award: Sugar boy sweetie..not here often enough but always talks sense

P4P Number 1 poster of the Year: Manos or Chris - Both clearly know their stuff and deliver it suberbly...
WUM of the Year: Alex - Never seems to be able to make up his mind and covers nearly all bases in predictions and posts which winds me up. Get off the fence man.. Don't see the need to post every 4 seconds either..
Thread of the Year: UCPL due to the work that goes in and the fact I use it. Only really contributed to the HOF thread at the start missed a few weeks and didnt want to jump back in and distort all of your results. Both great threads.
Funniest thread of the Year: Sven Ottke is a great made me laugh (and cry....)
606v2 Lifetime award: Has to be Windy. Class act through and through.

Ha I like everyone Alex. Someone had to get the vote and I though what winds me up. Its funny as a lot of the time you'll be commenting on something and cover nearly every possible outcome or eventuality and i'm thinking to myself come on man just give us your opinion and dont be afraid to be decisive with it. Nothing personal. I'd rather have people who I sometimes disagree with than everyone singing from the same hymn sheet. Would be a boring forum then
Sorry you feel that way Scott.......

P4P Number 1 poster of the Year: Has to be Windy, learnt more from him than anyone else, honourable mentions must go to Rowley, Chris and Captain
WUM of the Year: Need I answer
Thread of the Year: Hall of Fame
Funniest thread of the Year: School Projects paint thingy
606v2 Lifetime award: Captain, surpassed himself with the hall of fame thread which I feels gives this forum a uniqueness the others lack

Something cringeworthy about threads like these...
But on the brightside it seems I've retained my WUM of the year award again for the fifth year running..and to be in such company as Waingro is most edifying...
Surely with this level of longevity I should reach the HOF....any day soon.....

Truss is the undoubted wum of the year and I mean that in the best possible taste, the forum would be a poorer place without him.

As always I'm immeasurably impressed with Windy's knowledge of boxing, and increasingly of late, his cutting wit.
I'll also tip my hat to Chris, whose knowledge at such a tender age sometimes leads me to believe Windy has grown him in a petri dish, and whose ability to write coherent sentences has meant I haven't completely written off the next generation as illiterate peasants.
